In a world of endless content and images of others it can be hard to feel enough. It can be terrifying to be seen and it can be everything you’ve ever wanted. It can feel impossible to be beautiful enough, talented enough, or loveable enough. It can be devastating to see images of others and see so clearly how stunning and glowing they are. However, when looking in the mirror that reflection can look completely void of anything worth seeing. When you feel unloved and you see the wondrous creatures that flit about the world shining like the sun, it is easy to feel jealous. It can feel like somehow their magnificence steals away any chance of sparkling. But how can you turn that feeling of inadequacy and insecurity into awe, admiration, and inspiration. Fore we are all meant to be radiant! Don’t we all need heroes and heroines who show us how stunning we can be if we are just only to step into our light? On the best broadway stages it takes a whole cast of stars for a play to be truly wonderful. Shouldn’t it be the same for the stage which we live our lives? I think Marianne Williamson explained this in an interesting way that helps us transform and illuminate our wholeness that we hide under our layers of self-protection and wounds.
