The official website of his office announced today that The Guitarist Toru of rock band ONE OK ROCK has been infected with the new coronavirus and is hospitalized.

he was a man who can literally light up an alley with just his smile. a man who had inspired tons of individuals with his craft, and a man who showed nothing but kindness and indulgence to this cruel world. life is indeed excruciating and sometimes, suffocating, and I personally know how hard it is to deal with all these by yourself. unsaid thoughts and fears will keep eating you up. i just hate the fact that you had to endure all that, you had to deal with the world’s bullshit. you didn’t even showed weakness in front of the camera, you are always radiant and jovial. it is just so hard to accept, even more painful to think that you are gone because of how fucked up and how badly this world could ruin you.

this man made my adolescence, even my adulthood more meaningful and little less horrible, for he and his dramas, as well as his films helped me a lot to easily cope up with life and distract me from all the bad things that i could encounter outside my house. how i wish i could do the same thing to you.

i will surely miss your smile. my heart is still in pain and i am not sure how long i will suffer from this grieve. but always know that, wherever you are right now, i only wish you nothing but genuine happiness and solace. you are a wonderful person, HARUMA and I am beyond thankful for your existence. gone too soon, but you will remain in our hearts forever. we just love you so much.
