oh okay so that one volume of manga toriyama wrote 20 years ago is basically eps 1-6, he did character designs and wrote new story for the anime and that's the rest of it 7-13

i should be watching 8-12 later (13 releases tomorrow i think)

basically just think like. akira toriyama doing a mad max/tank girl kind of ruined world with a water shortage scenario. the manga was pretty short apparently. like 1 volume short.

not a fan of this potentially because it sounds exactly like the ~centrist: let's hear both sides out~ type of person who turns a blind eye to the evils of the government but you also have a fun spin on it that this person also is the one who creates the weapons of mass destruction that the government uses like yeah you created the people melter machine of course you'd say you aren't qualified to judge who's good or evil. but the people who have the people melter machine used on them don't get that luxury.
