Without another word, the goddess twisted the overlord around into a deep, graceful dip. Her golden eyes gazed lovingly and longingly into the other’s, glowing with moonlight as she leaned down and pressed a deep, sensual kiss into Hellsa’s lips.

A bit dramatic but what could Hecate say? She was a sucker for the classics.

Short thoughts on new Helluva

It was great to see Millie get the spotlight for once

Also nice to see Moxxie and Millie fight and not be a perfect lovey-dovey couple

The Moxxine scenes made me curdle internally because they remind me of terrible tryhard memories from my childhood...

I feel like this episode could have either been about Moxxie and Millie doing a solo job for the first time *OR* Blitz going on the hunt for his estranged sister Barbie. Trying to mesh the two just felt inorganic to me.

Summary: Not a perfect episode, I liked it well enough but it felt like it *should* have been better.

@murdxrxfcrxws - Styx walked around within Hecate's halls. using his staff as a walking cane. looking down and lightly petting Hecuba.. he really enjoyed her company.. not noticing the lord of the realm had came in to visit his mother...

Well... This wasn't what Hades had expected. Not that Hecate wasn't one to have the odd visitor in her penthouse; but he wasn't quite used to them being this... furry. The creature before him looked like some odd mixture of upright dog and deer.

"What... are you?" Was the first thing he could manage, squinting confusedly at the creature as it limped about with Hecate's dog at it's side.

"Being the ruler of the Underworld, you get used to people above and below thinking you're 'evil' after a while. I mean, fair, no one likes to think about what happens *after* death..."

"Doesn't help either that most mortals have become so supernaturally out of touch that they somehow conflate me with the ruler of the Seven Hells."

A light blue flush entered his cheeks as Hades took in Persephone’s bare form, eyes following every curve and contour like a well walked track. A rather feral part wanted to scoop her up and take her giggling back to the bedroom for another type of morning exercise.

But the thought of Hecate blowing up their phones if their fun made them late to work locked that idea back in his libido where it had come from. King and Queen of the Underworld or not, they both still had things to do beyond act like horny teenagers around each other.

“Peachy- I-I mean fruity!” He self corrected, reluctantly wrenching his eyes away from the upside down heart of Persephone’s ‘peach’ of an ass. “I think I have a can or two of peaches for toppings…”

Slender fingers gently curved across his sides as she drew her arms back. Gods, if he didn't look amazing like this...it took all the willpower she could muster to not let her hands linger on his body, but she managed. Barely.

"French toast sounds amazing," she sighed dreamily, working at her robe's sash to untie it - and just a moment later, the thin fabric was slid from her body, leaving the Goddess bare. "Hm...fruity or cinnamon-y? What are you feeling today, honey?"

Hades jumped a little at her sudden appearance, relaxing when he felt the floral pink arms wrap around him. He'd been so caught up in his swim he hadn't heard his beloved wife sneak in. Though mostly toweled off there were still drops of warm water rolling down his body as she embraced him.

"And I you." He smiled softly, unlatching her grip for a moment so he could turn to face her properly. "Apologies for not being there when you woke up, dearest, I wanted to get a quick lap or two in before I started breakfast."

He skipped the part where he had stared at her sleeping form for a solid half hour before that, enamored by her even in those moments.

"If you want to take a dip, I'll get that started if you like. How does French toast sound?"

"Is that my husband I spy?" The little pink goddess tiptoed behind the man, arms wrapping around his midsection as she rested her cheek against his back with a sigh. Despite the Underworld's natural chill, Hades was always so comfortingly warm, like a living hearthfire - even his scent was akin to burning wood. "Mmm...I missed you, my love."
