The very real repercussions some listeners have suffered? How, exactly? A handful of people didn’t pretend someone’s fav 90s boyband member is a literal perfect person and they... suffered? You’re gonna say that in all seriousness now in the year of our lord 2020.
If anyone is suffering it’s because you’ve crossed a line of basic human decency in posting private conversations for all of the internet to gawk at. You pretend to stand up for others while publicly humiliating them in your desperate attempts to tear down GWYA. (Well done, I guess?)
It’s especially hilarious that you can sit here and act like you give a FUCK about mental health while ignoring the fact that your actions have caused actual distress to two women who dared to speak on the internet.
I’m truly sorry if you’ve never had real life friends but here’s the inside scoop: Sometimes we vent to each other. Sometimes we talk shit. Sometimes we KNOW we’re on the other end of some shit talking and we move along because we understand grownups have complicated feelings to work through and IT’S OKAY. We know that not all conversations are suitable for the general public. We know better than to post private conversations to tumblr dot com because we got butthurt over something someone said about a boyband member who hasn’t been a public figure in damn near 20 years and will never ever know any of us even exist. (Doing a great job of countering offhand comments about crazy JC stans, btw. Good work!)
This is truly disgusting behavior (or as Chris would say, “bullshit”) and I hope someday you have the sense to feel ashamed of yourself.
Trashing other fans

Let me try to understand what is being said here. The chat decided that another person in the fandom is starting “drama.” The “drama” is her simply stating her own opinion. One chat member also makes a blanket statement about JC stans, generalizing them as “crazy idiots” who are preventing a reunion from happening. So far, the chat has pushed the narrative that JC is a douchebag, a bad friend, a guy who can’t keep a relationship because of his mommy issues, has brain problems, and now an antisocial freak. I am not sure how slandering JC will help make a reunion happen, either. When these people complain about other fans being annoying, are they describing themselves? They resent JC as the supposed holdout, and they also resent the fans who defend him. Make it make sense.
