One of my favorite things about Captain Marvel was actually something kind of small. It’s the part where Carol snarls back at the alien. The reason I love this is because I thought back to when Elizabeth Olsen talking about how she wasn’t allowed to make any ‘ugly’ faces because no one would like to see a woman look like that. And I am so happy that they gave Carol that little moment because just like in Black Panther when Nakia and Okoye battling on out and showing their ferocity on their faces, it doesn’t deter from their beauty, it makes them look like the badass warriors that they are.
