so. my cousin has a baby girl (who is now almost six months old!) and she has done a cute little scrapbook to fill with all things relating to the child!! it's so adorable!

i got to see it today and i scrolled though the pregnancy pages... you'll never guess what.

i audibly laughed because apparently my cousin enjoys hotbands music too (!) and had played satama to the baby when she was still pregnant. and the baby always kicked her tummy harder when she heard that song.

i might scream that is just so cute

The fact that the video is called small friend, and it's not the music video they're filming at all.

They take us by the hand as they arrive to the studio, show themselves on break and getting ready and learning the choreography. They show as the camera fails and as someone spills coffee on the scripts. and they show us the waiting, gosh, the waiting and how much there is just waiting on set.

They don't show us the finished product. They don't show the pyros and the stunts and the dance. They don't show us the clean shots of them performing the song. It's just them and the set and all that, never the actual part you'd usually expect.

And the playback is't the video they're filming either, except that it is. it's laughter and joy and holding hands and flowers and music and dancing. it's holding theone you love most and it's everything else too.

We're friends, after all. Small, tiny friends. Tiny friends througha screen and over a long distance. But we're still friends.

And you don't need to be so polished around friends. You don't need the scripts and the impressive stunts and whatever. You just need to be there at all.
