and has a few levels in glamour bard as well

her wrist bracers are also her two emolga

she's a well-known celebrity duelist who enchants clothing items

...I'm curious

be curious no longer, anon! despite the fact that it took me like ten days to answer this! i'm holding myself back from writing an MLA-formatted essay describing the entire au, so i'll just give you the basics (which will still probably be long, whoops).

the general idea of this au is that Ingo, Emmet, Elesa, and other relevant pokémon characters exist in a DND-themed fantasy world (not that they are playing a DND session and these are their characters. important distinction).

classwise, Ingo is (currently) a human eloquence bard (i'm being wishiwashi about it), and Emmet is a human echo knight fighter (because double battles!); they are both also paladins with the (made-up) oath of safety due to their conviction to uphold safety checks being so strong that it gave them powers.

also, their pokémon-shaped weapons are more than just weapons! in this world, pokémon are magical creatures that can take on a weapon form. they can exist naturally, but can also be made (for example, Ingo made Chandelure as a Litwick by enchanting a candle with some of his soul essence). some other characters' species/classes (just the basics, still workin on them): Elesa – tiefling, glamour bard/evocation wizard(?) Volo – human/elf, divine soul sorcerer Irida – winter eladrin, circle of the land druid Adaman – summer eladrin, mmmmonk. maybe. he's hard to pin down Protag/Akarei – human, peace domain cleric Drayden – dragonborn, fighter?

(unfinished or old art, but it's all i got of 'em at the moment) the Main Story of the au, the one i'm actually writing a fic about, is that on one of the boys' outings investigating some strange occurrences, a rift opens up and Ingo gets sucked inside. Emmet doesn't have the skillset to figure out where he went, so he searches for someone who does– the sorcerer, Volo. they don't travel together 24/7, but Volo does stick around more or less as they figure out where Ingo went and how to get there. turns out, Ingo was sucked into the Feywild (Hisui), and since the Feywild is not kind to mortal memories, he forgot everything after being in there for a few hours with no magical protections. he was eventually found by the Pearl Clan, and becomes warlock to Sneasler in order to give him some way to defend himself (bc he forgot all his levels in his other classes lol). that's where i'm gonna stop myself, because i'm never going to finish the fic if i get into what actually happens in it. but thank you for asking!! i love this au!! i will talk abut it more (threat) if you have any other questions!!!!!
