WTF?!?!? I’m still catching up and so haven’t seen any details of what happened (if they were shared), but in what universe does someone think this is ok? I mean I know this fandom can be a mess and we all have our differences. But how can another fan, in *any* part of D’s fandom, actually believe that they are somehow supporting him by threatening people? 

@ajw720 we certainly don’t see eye to eye on everything but I want you to know you have my support. I hope you’re ok and that whoever is doing this is just making empty threats.

Can someone help identify this gemstone?

I’m writing my next Klaine fic, and in one scene, it features this ring. I know what a diamond is but what is the other gemstone? I’m thinking they are garnets from Africa.

I’m a gemologist so I have to start by saying you can’t really ID gems just from a picture. ;) But for this purpose, I’d say anything that’s believable based on the pic is fine.  I don’t think those are diamonds, the clarity is poor and there’s no fire and little brilliance. More likely topaz or even quartz. But again for your story they could be diamonds.  The dark orange around the outside looks like rough rather than faceted gems, could be Madeira citrine, hessonite garnet or spessartine garnet (as you suggested), even topaz. 

Can someone help identify this gemstone?
