i have some lovely plots going currently but would love a couple more so i'm putting out a new plotting/interest call! if we have plots already this isn't me ditching you! feel free to reach out if you'd also like to start something new! looking for some 21+ writers, on either discord or the dash! interested in some novella style writing, world building, getting giddy about characters/pairings and long, winding plots. wanted plots that aren't at all bound in stone & could totally be elaborated on:

notable disappearance/m*rder à la gone girl or broadchurch

realistic superhero plot i.e. 'what the fuck do you mean you just saved the city, dude you wrecked my car'

espionage plots, either mr & mrs smith pretend to be married for the mission, slow horses type plots, or just general espionage plots

politics but, make it silly à la veep or west wing

older muses !

slice of life things i.e. roommates, coworkers, band mates, professors, etc.

ok but a plot where one is a criminal that’s on the run from the police, and they stumble across this practically empty motel that’s in the middle of nowhere, and they think, hey, perfect place to hide out for a few weeks until the manhunt dies down. the motel is run by a married couple, and their sheltered, somewhat naive child – well, actually they’re an adult by now, but they’ve never left their small town, had a job outside the motel, or been anywhere, and their parents still treat them like a kid. the criminal checks in, of course not mentioning why they’re here, and the owners’ kid is fascinated by their guest – they hardly ever get guests for more than a night at a time, let alone guests who seem to have so many interesting stories and secrets….
