why bother caring about the environment when 1. It’s so obviously a lost cause and 2. There’s definitely going to be a nuclear war?
And what are you doing about it Anon? Learn about ecological restoration or get out of my way.

The reason as to why my art is starting to "deteriorate" in the conventional sense is because I've become more fond of putting less effort into my art being palatable and just doing fuck all. I don't want to my work to feel like This Grand Beautiful Thing that comes down from the sky anymore, and I regret feeding that lie to myself for so long.
I want my art to feel like seeing slugs having sex for the first time. I want my art to feel like you saw a big fern grow on a really dry crack on the pavement and made you wonder how something could thrive in such a harsh environment. I want my art to feel like that time when you found out that hotdog casing is made of intestine lining.
The same feeling you get that really reminds you of how real and visceral and disgusting the world really is, but instead of it giving you a sense of deep hopelessness, the feeling, in a painfully ironic twist, gives you comfort instead

There's a vegan restaurant near me that's run by a cult that had free pamphlets promoting veganism and denouncing eating meat and I would keep one of the pamphlets in my bag in case someone tried to proselytize me so I could reverse uno them with my own propaganda
Why is it always Christians with those goofy little pamphlets. I wish someone would try to convert me to Hinduism or something for once. Were all the Buddhist lamas too busy to solicit me in front of Kroger's.

The fact that this joke is from the very first episode (which aired in January 1997) is messing with me.

THE ENTIRE WEST IS BEING PUT UP FOR SALE AND I AM BEGGING YOU TO CALL YOUR SENATORS

Trump’s budget bill has many, many things in it, but buried amongst it is the MILLIONS OF ACRES OF PUBLIC LAND FOR SALE.
This is the entirety of the Arizona state forests, the entire Cascades mountain range. Swathes of pristine desert around the national parks in Utah. On the doorstep of Jackson Hole.
THIS BILL IS BIG, BUT IT CAN BE AMENDED AND ABSOLUTELY MUST NOT PASS AS IS please.
If you have ever enjoyed the wilderness, we stand to lose it all forever.
CALLING your senators - NOT JUST IN THE WEST. ALL SENATORS, is CRUCIAL.
Outdoor alliance has a great resource for reaching out.
I don’t have a huge following but please, everywhere I have ever loved, the forests I grew up playing in, the land I got married on, is all at risk and I am begging.

many of these books require trigger warnings, especially some of the older ones that are more likely to feature racial struggles of the time. please do your due diligence and search for tws if you want to read them!
please feel free to add onto this list in the rbs or comments! happy black history month

What if Queen had a dog based on ChatGPT that whenever it was asked to do stuff like "roll around" it replies with a robotic sentence where it says it can't perform physical acts and that was the entire joke
