Ourghh as someone w a rly complex relationship w parenthood the phantom/psychosomatic pregnancies in the Outlast have been FASCINATING to me. So uhhh oc/a bit of a self insert... not my usual straightforward kind, gave them my dream physique (cryptid) and a more narrowed down themes etc but :D

Not completely canonically fitting to the first game but kinda messing around w it to kinda explore the comfort of this wolfmother personality. I wish to be a crawling animal in the woods hunting for my babies. But also leaning into the whole "instinct to mother the unloved" thing. Prolly i'll just draw a bunch of night mode camera shots of them crawling around. But the speedy undeveloped idea is that they were a worker at Mount Massive and experienced one of those phantom pregnancies. No baby, get upsetti spagetti. In REALLY Short form.. ill talk abt it later. Also yeah not aiming for Trials w this oc but I thought this interaction w franco could be funnie :3

A very experimental art for me, i want to try out some new style. ihnmaims radio drama got me in a chokehold and possessed me to draw this.

Note :

- the binary translates as "HATEHATE" on repeat.

- the pair of punchcode tapes representing AM's talkfield, are from the original short story. The left one is "I THINK, THEREFORE I AM" and the right is "COGITO ERGO SUM".
