Hey! As some of you may know, I'm attending a hobbit LARP event in October called the Brandywine Festival (October 7-12, with gameplay 9-11). It's an official LOTR event, and there will be about one thousand hobbits in attendance in Kentucky. We'll be camping!
Official ticket sales ended months ago, but a number of people have had to bow out of going and are trying to resell their tickets to anyone who might be interested in attending; tickets are roughly $350 and up. Because the reselling is not an official ticket sale (though they will be honored for the event) the reselling is happening though the event discord.
Long story short, if you were interested in going to Hobbit Camp but didn't get a ticket in time, send me a logged-in ask, and I'll send you the discord ticket sale link.

I saw a borzoi at the ren fest this weekend and I can't stop thinking about him. Truly the best proportions of any dog of all time
#the majestic noodlehorse#owner also had the teeniest little mini weenie dog. incredible stuff#i looked into getting a borzoi some yeas back because they really are my favorite dogs#but sighthounds generally have a high prey drive and that's NOT something compatibility with the Foundation for Increased Anxiety aka Vice#so i remain dogless#but he was so tall and so flat#...........
