"Wow- I.. I didn't know that.." She tilted her head as she was shocked. "Well uh..if you are settling a score down in Avernus.. maybe I can.. help—" she swallowed as she is looking down as she kept smiling a bit.

Karlach is holding him tighter then before..of course she isn't going to let him go.. not one bit, she loves him very much and it hurts to see him like this, breaking down like this. "I understand what you are going through, but don't ever be sorry for the feelings you have..you have the right to be hurt.." Karlach frowns a bit as she is holding him, thinking about what Elminster has said.. about Mystra telling him to use the orb for the greater good— but it's not the answer, if Gale himself wanted her to live.. then she will tell him to do the same.

Karlach was only looking at him for a while, then she felt the man against her shoulder only to feel a tear or two onto her red skin. Her eyes went into a bit of a shock as she pulls him closer. "Are... Are you crying...?" She asked as she quickly went to wrap her arms around the other in pure comfort, giving him what he needs. "Hey hey... you don't need to hide it from me you know... it's okay to cry Gale..." She was holding him gently and waiting for the other to just cry it out, she can tell he has gone through so much, especially with the fight for Baldur's Gate, the tadpole, Mystra, and everything else.

Karlach kept going, her body felt warmer and warmer by the minute, ever since Dammon helped with her heart, she can be able to touch a person like this, it felt like it's been a long time she has touched anyone, especially like this.

She pulls away as she has her arms wrapped around Gale's shoulders and leaning down to him just a bit for their foreheads touched.
