The way that Ruby looked up at him caused Alastor's ears to flutter rapidly. Oh, she was so precious. A gem that he had to carry close. A protective hold on her now; possession and obsession mixed together to form some new, foreign feeling.

A pleasant one that he enjoyed feeling. Perhaps it was love.

As he moved his hand, cupping the side of her face now, he leaned in. Stopping mere inches away from her lips. Hesitant. A ponderous moment hung in the air. Red gaze eyeing what he should do.

"No need to thank me," Those lips met with her nose and he stepped back, letting her go. "It's the truth, after all, I have no reason to lie to you," His casual stance showed off confidence of pretending he hadn't just kissed her nose. "But --- I appreciate it too."

Ruby’s eyes immediately widened as her face began to redden or as much as it could due to her skin being blue and white. Her red swirling eyes began to be locked with his with no hesitation. Not the slightest. When she listened to his words she paused for a moment and remembered that day all those years ago. It was a dark and brutal moment for her, but he was attracted to that…to her dark side. It was bizarre to her, but it was fare from a bad thing. Especially when he called her “special.”

One of her hands gently held onto the one that was holding her chin as she looked up at him with her eyes more wide this time. “Thank you for bein honest with me sweet face I appreciate it…and your special to me too…”

Fully turning towards the other, Vox delicately hooked a claw underneath the other's chin. "And I love you," He pulled him in close, digital lips met with the cold lips before him. Softly kissing him and not minding the chill that ran through his senses.

The words uttered out from Ruby's lips left Alastor wide-eyed and busy tailed. In the literal sense. His ears fluttered as he looked down at the ring on his finger. The pounding in his head evidence to a long night that he could only remember bits and pieces from. Slowly uncovering the holes within the memories.

Oh, they actually went through with it. Well, wasn't this certainly a turn of events.

"Well, I'm at a loss for words," Blinking, he took in the sight of their surroundings. "Perhaps you could explain how this happened....?"

{ OOC } The small things that I tend to like in threads are references to headcanons and past events from older threads. I like creating verses with people where each thread is just continuing one big storyline. So something that happened in an ask, or even another thread we have, and it's referenced ?? yess, i eat that shit up !!

As for what's best about roleplaying ? ugh, a lot ! I love the community, I love getting to collaborate with other people, I like getting to make friends and screaming about our blorbos together !! Sharing ideas, creating stories and being as nerdy as we want, it's so fun !!

{ HEADCANON / OOC } Vox is definitely the kind of guy who needs music for either foreplay or for the act itself. He likes to time things to the music. Especially if the beat is sensual enough. It just adds a whole other element to the fun and he enjoys it a lot.
