I’ve been in the digital photography world for about 3 years now, and I just recently decided to dip my toes into film photography. I purchased a Minolta XG7 at goodwill for $19.99 and had the shutter repaired for $24. So I ended up with a functioning film SLR for $44. I had some issues with my first roll and unfortunately this is the only photo that came out, but I will push forward and I'm already half way through my second roll. I can't wait to see how shooting film will help me grow as a photographer, not only in the film world, but in the digital world as well.
