Finally took some photos of maybe the coolest gift ever.

A incredible binding of my Steddie fic Aftermath (and other works from the Don't Settle for That series) by the unbelievably talented @whimsyquill (whimsyandquillbinds on insta)!! One of the most gorgeous things anyone's ever made for me and I cannot begin to explain how emotional I still am over it.

I have so much to gush about on this thing. The foil lettering, the fantastic color palette, some gorgeous glittery holographic endpaper (not pictured), the table of contents and chapter graphics (which get increasingly saturated as the chapters progress as a parallel to the emotional growth? the detail!), little D20 icons for line breaks. Just a stunning amount of attention and care that I can't get over. For a fic I wrote! What?!?

Also, on a technical level, just an incredibly clean, tight binding. The kind of stuff that makes me simultaneously go "man I want to pick up bookbinding again" and "I wish I could bind anything that clean."

Genuinely though, to be able to literally hold in your hands something you wrote, that someone cared about enough to bind? It's a pretty unmatched feeling, so thank you!!!

I think the best solution here might be to make a note in the relationship tags along the lines of "Past Relationships (spoiler)" and a "details on spoilers in first chapter notes" (there are also some content warnings that might be useful to put there), and then do a readmore text thing, but that really depends on to what end you're looking to have this tagged. Does that cover things?
