Ok but... why hasn’t @taylorswift or @taylornation done or said anything about the Lover fest ticket presale? I know the presale is already over in America, but so many fans were completely robbed because they either had to pay more since Ticketmaster raised the prices of the only seats left, or fans waited HOURS (literally, I’ve heard some people got tickets in one hour and others waited SIX HOURS and some didn’t even get any!) to be told that Ticketmaster was sold out because resllers somehow got in the presale and bought a bunch of tickets to list on sites like stubhub or vivid seats.

I know not much can be done to fix the mess that was presale, but I truly believe that Taylor and her team should do what Halsey did. Get the tickets back from the resellers and list the tickets for sale on her site at the prices they were supposed to be listed at. I also think they should confront Ticketmaster about raising prices while they had fans at a disadvantage. Of course if you put HOURS of your time into getting tickets, you’ll likely get tickets once you’re in because that’s HOURS of your life wasted if you don’t. They knew this and they rose the prices. Ticketmaster should refund the fans the extra amount they paid, because again, Taylor had set prices for each section. I know Ticketmaster needs to get their profit somehow, but the normal $20 extra tax that goes along with the ACTUAL prices Taylor set for each section should’ve sufficed for them.

Another thing about Ticketmaster. We were each told our boosts from the reputation era would count toward this presale as well. That absolutey was not true. My friend, who had no boosts, got in far before I did, and I had a lot of boosts. I logged on at the same time she did and we both were in the waiting room at the same time. When she got in, I was still at 2,000+ people with no sign of it ending soon. If it weren’t for her luck, I honestly would not have gotten tickets. Most people I know that were also verified waited hours, some into the early morning of the next day, only to not get a single ticket. I can understand that there was a high demand for this presale and that you cannot list all of the tickets since it is a presale, but fans should’ve been limited or simply denied if there weren’t enough tickets because that would’ve saved so much time and hope for them. I know there was a plan behind all of this, but it did not work. That or Ticketmaster did not follow the plan accordingly, but fans were robbed and cheated of their time, and I hope something can be done to make it right.

yeah i mean the journals were pretty cool, it was amazing to be able to see that stuff but basically as soon as it came out it was all on here anyway so it wasn’t really necessary to spend the money at the end of the day.. idk it’s just all starting to feel a little artificial and shady to me and it actually like genuinely hurts bc ive been a fan for so long and now i literally rarely come on here bc this has all just become way too much

im really not going to get over what fucking happened with loverfest tickets yall. this just. wow. this really fucking crossed so many lines. rep tour was a nightmare too dont get me wrong. but this was a new level of scalping. $450 for nosebleeds when taylor originally set pit prices at $400. not letting people in for literally over 5 hours of a queue. telling us our rep tour boosts would factor into the wait time and then saying actually jk it’s completely random and not even based on when you joined a waiting room. putting up barely any tickets at the original prices then only putting up platinum tickets that are literally designed to be priced like stubhub and fuck fans over so ticketmaster makes more money. this is criminal. straight up should not be legal. and if this doesnt get fixed..... yeah. im not going to get over this. whether or not taylor was aware this was going to happen, i really need her to speak up about it and see if she can fix it. halsey managed to fix it when ticketmaster bought out her whole concert that was $17 tickets and charged fans hundreds of dollars for the same tickets. she managed to buy the tickets back and redo the whole sale. so frankly i dont see why taylor wouldnt be able to do the same, if not more. this isn’t okay, and it needs to be fixed. im not going to forget and move on. this was criminal and it cant just fade to the background.

I want her to address it. Say SOMETHING to the people that believe in you enough to spend THOUSANDS of dollars (that we barely have) just to be in the same room as you. Tell us any details about what Loverfest may entail (even a hint??). CLARIFY it there will be a tour afterward. ACKNOWLEDGE the issues with Ticketmaster.

Honestly at bare minimum thank those that bought tickets.

@taylorswift ma’am i am very excited for npr tiny desk because you know i’m a sucker for acoustic performances but PLEASE read some of the recent posts on tumblr and PLEASE call out ticketmaster on its toxic, disgusting scalping behavior because it’s screwing over like 90% of your fanbase and is super angering! please! tons of us want to see you live, and we know what your initial and original prices were supposed to be, and we’ve just been screwed over. :/

I’m so tired of limited merch, limited concerts, limited tickets, etc etc. How much money does an artist and record label need from us? They are already rich. There is no point in selling $200 hoodies or letting Ticketmaster charge us $1,800 for concert tickets except for people to make money off us. I love Taylor and this is getting out of hand and I honestly feel betrayed. Money had always been an issue but never to this extent with being her fan. I have been a fan for 13 years and I have never been so disappointed
