I took some screenshots of this video, about “leftover women” in China, women who are unmarried and over the age of 25. I took screenshots every time someone said something that created a picture with the subtitles that just…. resonated with me. Something women can truly understand.

I'm really not feeling well these days, I barely sleep and eat and all I feel is constant pain in my body, heart and mind. I don't talk to my family and they don't talk to me- there is constant anger lingering in my home that makes me so anxious. How can I live my life than I want to die since I was ten years old ? Did I ever enjoy my life ? Isn't it sad instead of doing and thinking about stuff people do at my age, I just pray to god to end the pain or just take me. I can't speak to anybody, they don't care or ignore it. I feel like the human part of me is slowly drifting away and the pain makes me go crazy and evil

I wish people could just say how they feel like ‘Hey I really don’t like when you do that to me’ or ‘Hey I’m in love with you’ or ‘Hi I really miss you and I think about you all the time’ without sounding desperate. Why can’t everyone be painfully honest and just save people the trouble.
