2024 is a terrible year to be a henchman. The word "minion" is barely usable and you can't even say "goon" anymore.

There's the sound of footsteps running fast. Probably behind his head but he was too disoriented to figure it out.

The man's eyes flutter open. He's been half-awake for a minute, but felt too weird to move. He can see two roofs to his sides above him, and the gray sky. His body feels different. Not painful, but it's like all his insides were rearranged. He moves the fingers on his right hand, which lays on his chest, and feels a cold object. He smells garbage.

The man gasps and jolts up, a mobile phone falls from his chest and onto the hard ground with a crack. His gears turn faster suddenly with the brief fear.

The robotic man is an alley, a dumpster to his right, and garbage bags to his left, which explains the smell. What he assumes is his phone is on the ground in front of him. It was cracked from him jumping up and throwing it in front of himself so fast.

The phone is on, and he sees messages with a man entitled "Clark ♥️". Looking through the messages, he remembers this is his husband, he remembers he's out in town to go to the post office. Clark calls him "5" and "Sparky". He assumes these are his names. He remembers he is an evil henchman, but that's about it.

5 sighs and wonders how he's gonna get home. He feels something about him is changed, but he doesn't know what.
