I've been holding onto these for a bit, because I felt like the most recent part provides some context and wanted to wait for that.

But now I can share these. :3

Dan and Dani can actually be considered siblings (Masters siblings if you will). Both left in the care of Vlad to later being abandoned bc of his ambitions. Yeah... Vlad needs to make amends.

This one just came out cute. I used to have this whole project I called "Weekly Faeries" and it was just that - each week I made and posted a faerie art piece, usually watercolor. I kept it up for 7 years! So I think there will always be some faeries somewhere in my brain holes, even if I don't draw them very often anymore.

Prompt 26 is "Tower" and I could only really think about this one setting from He Who Fights With Monsters; the Builder's tower in the Reaper Trial astral space. I figured that was good enough excuse to draw another character fanart, Thadwick Mercer!

Design notes! I'm going to call the three versions Normal, Possessed, and Not.

Normal: I know Jason said "Shouldn't your hair be more oily?" but I still wanted to draw him with his hair slicked back. I'm still struggling a bit with Greenstone fashion, but I went with green (opposite the warm colors I like to draw Humphrey in) and a popped collar for extra douchiness.

Possessed: More ashy skintone and a bit of under-eye shadow since his body is kinda half-dead, there's still a note about how he looks more handsome without the perpetual sneer. The square pupils and blocky halo aren't described, I just like them.

Not: The energy vampire, which consumed the gold (or maybe diamond) soul that was protecting a sinister sword. I switched his outfit to reds to match the swords, with a slightly more Vertesse style since I figured he'd change from the brown cultist robes to clothes he got from a victim from Emir's crew. As of book 9, he hasn't been seen since book 6, so I still have that mental image of a slightly tragic, overpowered but confused new being with a familiar face.

Finally! The last prompt for Spooky Spring Art Party is "Costume Party" - and since I was missing it, I made a He Who Fights With Monsters fan art!

In book 4 there's a costume party for Erika's birthday, and its the first time Jason sees a lot of his family in years. That includes Erika dressed as the Riddler, her husband Ian dressed as a pirate, his brother Kaito as a Miami Vice guy, and his sister-in-law Amy as the 4th Doctor. Jason's makeshift Sith costume was just his adventurer gear and a cheap lightsaber.

And that's it for Spooky Spring Art Party! I feel bad I finished so late, but sometimes things just work out like that. Fun as always though, so I definitely will participate again next year if I can!
