Pf magazine placed a portfolio of 10 images in their august edition. The cover was made during the residency in Lenzburg that I won via an open call.

Working without a camera at the moment and going through my collection of dried plants like this seaweed from the Wadden sea.

The Denis Roussel Award I received last year for a series with these two images and the following motivation: 

We don't see enough alternative processes in awards, it seems all very digital and realistic to counterbalance the fake truth Trump wave but I believe we live in a world that requires new versions of old processes, more poetry, show the errors. Beauty only exists in contrast to flaws, who in themselves possess perhaps the real beauty.

Due to corona my artist talk in 2021 at Fotografencafé Kasteel Woerden had to be canceled so we shot this video. It is in Dutch!

The blue became a bit lighter in the final presentation but happy that it worked it out in reality in the same way as I was considering it.

Over a week ago, my residency and my exhibition in Lenzburg ended. What a great time I had, so grateful for the opportunity and felt so welcome. Next year I will hopefully travel to Canada to make a study on local trees but still looking for funds. I won the residency of Fotofestival Lenzburg! Pre-residency now in Drenthe due to corona but departing coming Monday to start working there on my proposal related to dissapearing specimens of plants in Switzerland

Four of the works from the series Alleen/Analogue History are on display at the outdoor exhibition of Helsinki Photo Festival. Two (as you can see above) are on display in the Old Customs House.
