A Day at the Beach with Tsania.

After hours of intense gaming, the chaos of my mind feels like it’s been scrambled, and my fingers ache from the endless hours on the controller. It’s time for a change of pace, a reset. Tsania calls me up with her usual unpredictable energy, always full of surprises and spontaneous ideas.
“Let’s go to the beach!” she says, practically singing the words as if they’re a secret plan only she’s been keeping. I hesitate for a moment, but her enthusiasm is infectious. I put down the controller, grab my white shirt, and slide into my jeans. A simple, comfy outfit to match the simplicity of her plan.
When I arrive, Tsania’s already there, standing by the water, her white dress fluttering in the soft sea breeze. Her two pigtails, tied with cute little bows, bounce as she spins around, completely carefree. She looks like something out of a dream, untethered and full of life, everything I need to remind myself how to breathe without being glued to a screen.
I walk over, and she flashes me that mischievous smile of hers. "Finally, you’re here! Let’s make this day legendary!" she says, her voice a perfect blend of excitement and mischief.
She grabs my hand and pulls me toward the shoreline. The sand is warm beneath my feet, and the sound of the waves crashing in the distance fills the air, making everything feel a little slower, a little softer.
We start with building a sandcastle. Tsania’s method? Completely unpredictable, as always. Instead of using the normal bucket and shovel, she decides the sea foam can work just as well for sculpting. She’s laughing the whole time as I try to convince her that it's not the best idea, but her stubbornness wins, and before I know it, we’ve created the weirdest, most whimsical castle, which she insists is a masterpiece.
After that, we stroll along the beach, talking about everything and nothing at once. Tsania goes on about a new book she’s reading, while I half-listen, occasionally nodding, as I’m too caught up in the rhythm of the waves and the calming effect of the sea. Her voice, as usual, dances around me, bouncy, animated, and full of personality. I throw in a joke here and there, keeping the conversation light, but I can’t help but admire her (as a friend). How does she manage to make even the simplest things feel so magical?
We stop at a little beach café for a snack. Tsania orders everything in sight: french fries, coconut water, fruit bowls, and even some weird sweet dumplings that I’m not sure are even edible. She grins and insists, “You’ve got to try it!” I take a hesitant bite, and surprisingly, it’s amazing. It’s as though her unpredictable nature makes even the weirdest combinations work.
The evening starts to settle in, the sky turning into soft pinks and purples. We find a quiet spot on the beach, Tsania lying back on her towel with her hands behind her head, her eyes scanning the sky, as if searching for constellations in the fading light.
For a brief moment, there’s a peaceful silence between us. It’s one of those rare moments where I feel completely at ease. No game to win, no book to finish, just the sound of the ocean and the warmth of the fading sun.
Tsania breaks the quiet with a soft laugh. “Do you ever just stop and think, 'Wow, the world’s big and I’m small’?” She turns her head toward me, her eyes wide and playful.
I chuckle. “You’re always thinking too much, Tsania.”
She shrugs, giving me that innocent smile, “Maybe, but isn’t that the fun part?”
As the sun finally dips below the horizon, the air cools, and we sit there quietly, not needing to fill the space with words. The whole day has been a perfect escape. A reminder that, even as a pro-player wrapped up in games, there’s a whole world out here to explore. With someone like Tsania by my side, it’s impossible not to enjoy every spontaneous moment.
And for once, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
