I've been thinking a lot about my Elden Ring Tarnished, Theren (based on a beloved D&D character of mine hence the elven appearance, I always gravitate towards making him in games if there's a mage option) and wanted to share some artwork of him before I get too too carried away detailing him. If not just a mirror of his lore in the D&D game I played him in, I always imagined him as a noble sorcerer, driven away from his studies at Raya Lucaria but too ashamed to return home. Yet his fascination with sorcery was maintained even after being exiled from the Lands Between.

I imagine he was glad to find a fellow sorcerer in the round table hold, and all the more devastated when he lost that friend...

They say he could not wait until his light shined upon that still pool of water. Instead thick black ichor spilled onto the lands of Aenorosón. No-one was spared.

Snippet from my ramblings about lore in my fantasy setting, I don't write fics so this is the closest I have.

Two of my more recent WIPs, 1. A more experimental drawing of Xydite, the Scorching Sun, and Dylene, the Night Mother, two celestials from my setting. I wanted to mess around with the Night Mother's colour palette during the day (something something, in Xydite's pressence)

2. A doodle of a tiefling and their weird dog. Particularly me getting too attached to the concept art for a rust themed tiefling adjacent species.

If any of you are curious this is the pattern I used (with some edits) link I opted for chaining 4-5 stiches, and then half-double crochet and single crochet back for the claws. The eyes are stitched and I'm sure I'm forgetting some other details. The crystal is just raw quartz, and yarn wrapped around and secured under the crab a few time.

I was consumed with thoughts of blorbo and crocheted him a tiny crystal grab irl, so here's my character offering it to him.

A friend of mine said he'd really like it.

Hmmmmm, it seems that my work here is appreciated. /silly

I am still experiencing so much brain rot over this, I have no runes to exchange for good soup, so hopefully this suffices.

This was like. The worst scene for me to draw to show my appreciation for @un-local 's Still Water's Run Deep.

But here we are. There are probably better pieces in the works.

Anyway, the author's writing helped fill the Rogier shaped hole in my heart, and I must inflict it upon as many people as possible.
