Admin Update - Closing The HERA Project

Hi everyone,

First, we want to start by saying we appreciate all of you and the support you’ve given us. It’s been a crazy ride these part few months and we’ve had some highs and some lows, but you’ve been wonderful members who have supported us through some big changes, and we could never forget that.

This comes down to time constraints - we’ve both got heavy workloads outside of the group and while we’ve done what we can to give as much attention to the group as we can, we know we can’t give this group the time and care it deserves which isn’t fair to anyone here, considering how much hard work and development we see on the dash.

It’s been a wonderful, wild ride here and we’ll miss running this group, and we wish all of you all the best. We hope you guys can understand why we have to do this - we just don’t feel it’s fair to anyone for us not to give the group all the time and attention it deserves.

Admin Reminder

Hi guys!

We just wanted to take a second to remind everyone to please be mindful of other characters - not just players, or characters who are currently active in our game, but all characters. We’ve noticed some instances where situations are being created that involve/effect other characters who might not be in-game right now, but might later have repercussions or effects on them later on.

We want this to be a flexible group to join - the last thing we want is for someone to join the group only to be bombarded with pre-established facts and events that have happened in game in the past and feel pressured to conform to a certain set of expectations. It’s in the same ballpark as expecting someone to ship with you when they join just because a relationship is canon.

We understand you have plots and directions in mind and enjoy playing these out, but please be careful of these things as they can effect our group as a whole, and individuals, later on. At this point it’s more of an announcement, but if we see occurrences of this in the future we will have to take action.

Would you accept a Helena Kyle/Huntress?

I’m going to have to say not at this point in time, I think - if we got a Selina Kyle in the future who was okay with it, then it would be different, but as we don’t have a Selina right now we wouldn’t want one to come in and have to follow that particular plot if they didn’t want to.

this might be the dumbest question to ask but would a hero not being registered under HERA mean that they are no longer active? sorry!! i'm just confused.

Not a dumb question at all! If a hero isn’t registered under HERA, they can either be inactive and just living a normal life (or trying to) or they can still be active, making them a vigilante, and at risk of arrest if they’re caught.
