You were spam tagged in the post

The account that made the post is under at least a month old

Google image search pings their pictures on other websites

The person in charge of the fundraiser won’t take “No” for an answer

The fundraiser description focuses on emotions / lacks specific details

They’re asking for cash or gift cards

They’ll only accept payment apps (Paypal, CashApp, etc.)

Unsolicited messages from unknown accounts begging for donations or shares

Generally if they don’t hit 2 or more marks on the list it should be safe to share!! Always be respectful with questions and don’t be afraid to be cautious!
