Poverty in Africa is common and it is caused by the misuse of money, mismanagement of land, corruption and poor governance, limited employment, opportunities, wars and unending conflicts. Africa’s income is gradually decreasing by each year causing them lack of money and unable to buy foods. According to our research, U.S donated $500 billion to Africa. The money had little long term effect. However, a large percentage of the money was used to buy weapons for war or was misappropriated by corrupt governments. These are most of the reasons why Africa is suffering from poverty.
