A message that is difficult for me to accept

Even though I never had special ties with the sender

But then again, not everything we want can be ours

We just have to move on from it

And time will heal the pain

Although it wasn't much

But now it's time to say goodbye

Today was my last day of internship in Evonik

And I had mixed feelings

I felt delighted as I had an amazing time here

I gained a lot of knowledge, skills and experience

The colleagues were very friendly, kind and supportive

The working environment was very flexible

-

But at the same time I felt that 3 months was too short

I learnt a lot, yes but there was a lot more to learn

I wish that the uni set the internship period for 6 months

-

Anyway, it's time for holidays now

Then I'll have two semesters left to complete

I can do this.

Can't believe it has been 10 years

Since my first time travelling to another country

-

It was simply a memorable experience

I was one of 20 Malaysians who are selected

To participate in the Kizuna (Bond) Project in Japan

Which was organized by AFS Intercultural Programs

From 2 to 13 December 2012

-

The project was a part of a Japanese reconstruction plan

To promote global understanding of Japan’s revival

After the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011

And this project was held around 8 days

-

The participants were also given the opportunity

To stay with host families for 4 days in Oita

I had an amazing time with them

They taught me to make sushi from scratch,

Brought me to beautiful places,

Treated me with delicious food and what not

And surprisingly, they once lived in Malaysia

-

I miss my host family and my friends

I hope I can meet them again someday.

I always love to spend time with my family

Whenever I have the chance

Even to do little things

Like having a breakfast together

Because for me

Family time is precious time

And I always miss the moments

When I'm away from home

But.. I guess we don't always get what we want.
