IT  IS  A  DEVOURING,  RENDERING  FEELING.   the  tidal  wave  of  unease  and  foreboding.   neon  lights:  flashes  of  blue,  bold  colors,  that  vibrate  across  the  dampened  street.  he  walks  on  it,  boots  scraping  horribly  on  pavement.    ❝    rosie,  i  told  you.  ❞    it  is  crushing.  it  is  suffocating.  ominous  darkness  overwhelms  in  brilliant  sparks  as  the  street  lights  flicker.    (   is  that  an  eye,  looming?   two?   three?   )    he  ignores  it  all,  arrogance  fulfilling  human  deity.    ❝    we  get  in,  we  get  out.  she’s  going  to  be  on  the  top  floor,  i  think.  she’s  stuck  there.  has  been  since  she  died.  ❞     odysseus!  on  his  journey  he  embarks,  fearless,  unrelenting.  denouement  false.  this  is  a  never  ending  loop.  he  feels  immortal.  eidolon  boy,  he  has  been  dead  still  long  ago.  on  he  trudges,  pointedly  ignoring  the  cold  spot  creeping  along  his  spine.  he  can  feel  it,  everywhere,  spreading,  even  in  the  backs  of  his  eyes.  .

yeah  isaac  gets  some  of  his  research  from  libraries   &   the  internet,  but  most  of  his  information  comes  from  the  small  circle  of  people  he’s  acquainted  with.  professors,  hunters,  even   another   supernatural  being.  it’s  a  very  small  circle,  consisting  of  5  people  other  than  him,  and  they’re  all  intertwined  and  know  each  other.  they  rarely  meet  in  person.

it’s   late  and  i  need  to  head  to  bed  but   tomorrow  if  i  can,  i  really  want  to  make  a  meta  about  some  of  the  different  types  of  creatures  isaac  encounters.  they’re  not .. .  what  you  would  think  and  i  don’t  know  how  to  describe  it  without  fully  going  into  it.  it’s  so  important  for  his  world  building.  i  also  have  a  playlist  in  the  making  for  him  and  half  the  bio  done.

now  i’m  thinking  about  what  lux  said  ..  and  like ..  in  a  completely  unhealthy  way,  he  romanticizes  death  a  lot  .   he  doesn’t  want  to  die,  i  guess,  when  it  comes  down  to  it,  but  he  doesn’t  particularly  care  either.  what’s  motivating  him  to  get  out  of  these  places  alive  is  the  fact  that  he  wants  to  see  more,  but   more  often  than  not  that  gets  thrown  away  in  the  heat  of  the  moment.  he  just  cares  about  being  brave  and  interesting.  he  thinks  it  would  be  a  good  way  to  go  to  be...  killed  by  some  kind  of  monster.  he  thinks  it  makes  sense.  like  with  all  ??  dangerous  things ...  he  thinks  they’re  interesting  and  the  possibility  of  death  will  never  get  in  the  way  of  him  doing  what  he  wants  to  do.

i  knew  you  would  ask  me  this.  isaac  is  a  gryffindor  !    bravery  and  nerve  and  courage  are  the  most  important  traits  to  him,  and  his  most  dominant  ones.  although,  he  does  have  some  major  ravenclaw  tendencies,  he  tends  to  put  them  on  the  back burner.

hi  i’m  going  to  write  his  biography  but  while  i  do  that….  here’s  just  some  quick  info   about  this  horror  oc   :

his  name  is  isaac  gibson   !   he  was  raised  in  a  small  town  in   GA.  i  mean..   small.   all  full  of  closed  minded   &   paranoid  people.  only  it  would  turn  out,  they  had  a  reason  to  be  paranoid.   a  demon  lived  among  them   &   started  to  kill  them  off  .    isaac  ,   a  naturally  curious  and  fearless  person  ,  decided  to  stick  his  nose  in  it  when  they  started  investigating.  instead  of  leaning  on  their  police  and  law  enforcement  like  a  rational  town  would  do,  they  asked  for  help  within  their  professors.  they  had  a  few  professors  there  who  studied  mythology  &  took  an  interest  in  the  supernatural  as  well.  the  town  trusted  them  completely.

luckily  for  isaac,  no  one  ever  payed  much  attention  there  to  anyone  but  themselves.  isaac  snooped  his  way  along.  the  professors  sent  for  a  man  they  believed  could  kill  the  beast.  they  were  right.  what  they  weren’t  expecting  was  for  isaac  to  befriend  this  man  &  lend  a  helping  hand.

after  that,  he  couldn’t  get  enough  of  the  excitement.  he  packed  all  his  things,  barely  muttered  goodbye  to  a  family  that  couldn’t  care  less,  and  began  his  journey.  he  travels  all  around  the  world,  not  to  hunt  monsters,  but  simply  to find  them.

he’s  seen  everything.  everything.  barely  made  it  out  alive  each  time.  a  man  with  two  heads  &   startling  white  eyes,  wolves  three  times  the  size  of  him,  sirens  with  unhinged  jaws,  &  he’s  lived,  somehow,  barely,  to  find  the  next  surprise.  he  will  stay  in  one  place  if  he  loves  its  mystery,  but  only  for  a  while.  only  until  he  grows  restless,  &  it  always  happens.  

personality  wise,  he’s  very  kind.  he’s  very  warm  hearted  &  has  good  intentions.  unfortunately,  in  order  to  cope  with  all  he’s  seen  &  continues  to  seek  out,  he’s  very  shut  down  when  it  comes  to  serious  relationships.  platonic  &  otherwise.  he  tries,  but  he  always  ends  up  ruining  it.  he  can  be  very sarcastic  ,   but  also  very  energized  and  light  hearted.

does isaac ever come back to places he visited /: asking for a friend ( the friend is bella )

////:  why  do  you  hate  me.   unfortunately  for  bella   ( and  serena  haha )  usually  not.   he  knows  if  he  goes  back,  he’ll  be  a  little  more  likely  to  stay,  but  he  knows  he  won’t.  so  he  knows  it’ll  just  add  more  heartache  for  both  parties  involved.  he’ll  come  back  if  there’s  a  new  mystery  to  be  found   but  not  usually  for  sentimental  reasons.  he  feels  like  his  adventure  seeking  is  his  destiny,  and  no  matter  how  much  he  loves  anyone  else,  it’s  his  most  true  love  and  he  can’t  give  up  on  it.

does isaac want to fight monsters he finds or does he wanna like befriend them and protect them ?

honestly,  it  depends   !    some  creatures  he  doesn’t  consider  monsters  at  all  in  that  sense  of  the  word.   he  doesn’t  ever  see  himself  as  an  executioner.  he  doesn’t  see  himself  above  anyone,  or  in  any  position  to  send  punishment  or  judgment.  he  isn’t  a  hunter,  he  doesn’t  want  to  save  the  world  or  be  a  hero.  he  just  wants  to  explore  &  see  what  the  world  has  to  offer  him  in  supernatural  areas.   although,  a  lot  of  the  monsters  that  he  does  see  don’t  have  an  actual  conscience,  or  much to  bargain  with  and  befriend.  they’re  more  ...  thoughtless,  and  designed  just  to  kill.  so  he’ll  fight  enough  to  escape.  if  they  do  have  more  of  a  sophisticated  mind,  he’ll  often  try  to  egg  them  on,  and  purposely  throw  himself  into  the  danger.  if  they���re  kind  beings,  he’ll  definitely  befriend  them  until  he  moves  on.
