I am once again asking fandom to play around with canon Belarus material more often and give her the same "million ways to interpret" that so many of the guys get.

She's fucking hilarious. I'm sorry, but the line (from Desktop Buddies) "It's nine, so I decided to watch some state-run TV to be poisoned by propaganda" tells me that she is, in fact, very self-aware, has an insanely dry sense of humor, and doesn't actually believe half the shit she says/does. She outright calls it being poisoned. This woman is parodying what her government wants her to be as an act of performance art/protest, but everyone around her is taking it dead serious because they lack her artistic vision or outright underestimate her.

And for your consideration: Which character most reliably gets Ivan to be freaked the fuck out?

How much of her obsession is real, and how much of it is her taking the loyalty he wants from those around him and weaponizing it? Is this what you want, Brother? You wanted someone who worships the very ground you walk on and can't bear to be apart for even the most fleeting of moments? How about someone who wants be "one" through marriage, huh? How about someone who steals your dirty underwear and says she wants to be your goddamn toothbrush?
