I need a book of like 101 puzzles to do when I'm in between tasks to replace the time I spend online because I'm not even joking anymore about being too old to be here.
I genuinely do not relate to like 80% of the shit I see online and it's always such weird ass garbage that makes me feel like I'm wasting my life and I feel like an angry 70 year recluse at the age of 28 and I really don't like it 😂
#Not just Tumblr but all social media not counting chat rooms like discord that I use to talk to irl friends#I really am only here out of habit because I've been using social media constantly since middle school#But it honestly hasn't really been all that fun for me ever since I stopped being a teenager which is now kind of a long time ago!#I don't know how to spend my time anymore I need counseling to get my life in order so I can learn to be a normal adult in the real world

(the Al-Anqar grandchildren)
DONATE
Nabil Al-Anqar worked his entire life to provide for his family; his beloved wife Fatima; his four children, Mohamed, Ahed, Ghada, and Khaled; and his grandchildren, Lama, Amir, Fatima, Noor, Eman, and Nabil. He owned an aluminum workshop before the war. It took him many years to save up for an apartment for his family, but at the age of 61, he finally did it: a beautiful apartment on the top floor. It was a physical testament to his hard work, and his youngest son Khaled was to be married here.
A month later, his dreams were destroyed by IDF bombs.
(The apartment, before and after)
Nabil’s family was forced to evacuate several times. Instead of the new apartment, the Al-Anqars now are seeking refuge in a partially-developed UNRWA school that receives no aid. The windows, still not fully installed or broken entirely, have blankets stretched across the frames in an attempt to keep the cold out. Sewage spills out onto the streets. Bombs kill dozens in refugee tent camps not half a kilometer away.
(Pictures of current conditions)
Nabil has no way to support his family right now other than this GoFundMe campaign. The price of flour has risen to 150-200€ a bag. Nabil’s grandchildren, some as young as 1 year old, lack shoes and winter clothing to protect themselves from the chill.
As ceasefire talks intensify, so has the Israeli bombardment of Gaza. This week and a half we have before Trump takes office is CRUCIAL. Whether a ceasefire is reached before his inauguration or not, we need to be supporting both community efforts on the ground, as well as campaigns like this, where your money is going to support 14 people (Nabil and his wife, his four children, six grandchildren, and his two daughter-in-laws).
Please donate and share this campaign; it is halfway funded!!!!!
€10,468/€20,000 - JAN 20TH!!!!!!!!
This fundraiser is verified by Gaza Vetters, at #6 on the list, under Ghada’s name.

Everyone wants to talk about how eating bugs is good for the environment because they are so easy to farm and they are an easy source of protein and we can end world hunger and so we should all try to eat bugs now etc etc so then why does it cost like 8 dollars for a small little palm full of crickets or meal worms? Answer me that??
#I actually like edible bugs#But you can't find ones for human consumption for a reasonable price ANYWHERE#EXCEPT at the science museum???#I've checked at various irl stores and online stores and they are always dramatically over priced#But for some reason the science museum gift shop is the only place in America where you can get them at a reasonable price#I might straight up just go there every few weeks like it's a fucking grocery store at this point lmao

Going for walks in the winter is SO nice because there are barely any other people out so it's very peaceful and then you get home and eat hot soup and drink hot tea which feels so good and then you can just sit inside and watch the snow fall as you warm up
#Also I was walkin around on the lake which was fun#But I didn't go past the shore cause it's not cold enough for it to feel safe#Even though someone was literally on a BIKE in the dead center of the lake which was crazy I didn't know people biked on lakes

do you think that a certain genre of queer person is so obsessively weird about pride flag discourse becuase their flags fill the gaping hole in their personality where a hogwarts house used to be

It's funny having a very high tolerance for pain but a very low tolerance for other forms of discomfort. Like yea tattoos piercings cramps shots cuts bruises whatever thats nothing. But I better not get nauseous or hear a loud sound. Or I'll die
#This is completely accurate to me#Strong against physical attacks#But weak against sonic attacks#And if I'm nauseous just kill me please#Literally got 2 major surgeries this past summer and the second one I told them NOT to give me pain killers again#Because the nausea from the opioids was FAR worse than the pain of being literally cut apart and stitched back together a few hours ago
