I really don't buy the *he needed to stay hidden* excuse, he was(is?) A master of disguise, he already faked his death, he could return to his family and say sorry to his traumatized son as soon he could with a new identity.

Hi there!!

Sadly no, I haven't 😭 Since I was so burnt out from scanning Crime & Punishment I wanted to wait until I had obtained all the cards from the base set before I started again but that's proving to be pretty difficult. After opening so many starter decks-- which is typically what shows up on eBay and the like-- it's pretty clear to me that some cards have hidden rarities (like Short Print in the YGO world) and are much harder to find than they let on. As of this post I am missing 23 cards.

As for the promos (both sets), I low-key gave up on obtaining them and instead offered to clean the scans from someone who is way, way further along in that endeavor - but as I understand it, the finish line is still a bit far off for them, too.

Really cool to know that someone is still interested in these and the game at large! Sorry I can't be of much help right now with the scans. Good luck with your project!! Would love to try it when you get around to finishing it, I'm solely focused on collecting but I also really wanna give the actual game a go sometime <3

Fuck, I wish you would!

I wish you would let this inspire you. I wish that seeing a piece of abstract art would move you to self expression.

I wish you would go to the craft store, buy a cheap canvas and some cheap paint and let yourself play with color and form just to see if you can.

I wish that there were more amateur painters, trying their hand at geometric abstraction and color field painting. That would be so fucking cool.

"I could make that" should be a joyous revelation, not a snarky dismissal.
