You can't kill the Hag, neither can you run from it, but there are very specific rules that it must follow. Remember these and you might yet escape.

It follows lone travellers at night. It can't be seen and you won't hear it coming - it steps when you do, to hide the sound of its tread. The only warning comes from its limp - every third step is a little slower and it'll be out of sync with your own.

If you hear that echo of your footsteps, just a fraction behind, don't look for the Hag. Three glances over your shoulder and it has you. Instead, close your eyes and count to ten. Whatever you feel, whatever you hear, don't open your eyes.

If you can stand alone in the darkness for that count of ten you'll be free. I don't know what happens if you peek, no one has ever come back to tell us.

Sherlock Holmes is the funniest case of “doomed by the narrative” ever. Doomed by the narrative and destined to die young bc the creator hated him, and then the fans literally bullied him into un-dooming the narrative, writing about him for another thirty years, and giving the character a canonical happy ending where he retires to the countryside and keeps bees. Funniest shit ever.

The single greatest picture ever taken in my life. We threw Yu-gi-oh cards at the ceiling fan to watch them scatter, and just happened to take a picture right at this exact moment. To this day, this is the only time I’ve ever heard of anyone breaking a ceiling fan blade with cards.
