63 days until Jamaica!! I’m such a jumble of mixed feelings right now, and I couldn’t begin to untangle the mess of my emotions to even attempt to explain it! I’m so excited for my journey around the world, but I’m getting increasingly nervous as it gets closer to embarkation day. I’ve never traveled by myself before nor have I been apart from my family for an extensive period of time, but Jeremiah 29:11 has me confident that all my uncertainties are unnecessary. I may not have concrete plans for the upcoming semester, but God does, and he will not leave me to fend for myself. When I get on that boat in September, I’m relying on him to accompany me, protect me, to take care of me, and share in my experiences: good and bad. I couldn’t imagine a more reliable travel companion!
