Making games people like (aka listening to their fan base)

Mobile apps of their mini games with in-app purchases/ads

Putting soundtracks on spotify

Classes on how to make games/script writing/ research/ etc.

Going to more conventions for self promotion

Merch like Nancy's stationary or even similar style customisable stationary

So I work at a university and I work in the oldest building on the campus. It’s very Nancy Drew.

Lately we’ve been trying to make the office more environmentally friendly, and I have been tasked with checking our energy usage. It’s BAD. for our size, we are the WORST on campus.

Logically I know that this is because the older the building, the less energy efficient it is. HOWEVER, I can’t help but imagine that it’s because a secret area under the building has been quietly using electricity for the past several years. Like maybe it’s powering a giant scythe on a pendulum. Maybe there are a series of moving rooms under the building. Maybe one of the professors built a secret lab and there’s an electric forcefield blocking the exit that will murder any electronics. You just never know.

Chase: What? I didn’t break it.

Nancy: Huh, that’s weird. How’d you even know it was broken?

Chase: Because it’s sitting right in front of us, and it’s broken.

Nancy: Suspicious.

Chase: No! It’s not.

Nancy: If it matters, probably not, but Frosty was the last one to use it.

Frosty: Liar! I don’t even drink that crap!

Nancy: Oh, really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier?

Frosty: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Nancy!

Pa: Okay, let’s not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Scott.

Scott: No! Who broke it?!

Chase: Scott… Debbie’s been awfully quiet.

Debbie: REALLY?!

Chase: Yeah, really.

Debbie: Oh my god!

[everyone starts arguing]

Scott: [phones Brooke] I broke it. It burned my hand so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now they’ll be at each other’s throats with warpaint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.
