.. they say the shoes are cute .. white and blue and different shades and designs .. the comfort prolonged .. the walk pronounced with speed .. shoes ..

they say it will become a style .. they say you set the fashion .. they say all kind words of compassion and gift the vocabulary with aggrandised verbology ..

it shall be no such ..

necessity be the reason .. the comfort to the broken toe .. a broken toe be the bane of one's attention .. much like the hands and the wrists .. and when they go too .. it is too much too bear ..

age shall be everywhere .. beside you .. behind you .. at times ahead of you .. and shall prevail .. prevail well ..

Birthday - EF Mahendra Chaudhari .. Ef Ritika Jain Friday, 15 September ... love and greetings from the family Ef to the birthdays of Mahendra C and Ritika .. may all be well and prosperous ..❤️

A day filled with emotion and love and gratitude and care .. tissues and laughter and the honour to have been in the company of greats ..

As much as I would like to disclose the details, I have to refrain and hope that when the DAY is before you the reason for the above is explained .. in some detail ..

BUT ..

truly I am not deserving of such affection and care .. and I simply smile in contented will, of the many glories that are sent to me by the people ..

And more of that shall soon ..

The degree of making me a part of their lives is simply the very epitome of what any human would dream of .. and I dream that each day with the audiences at the KBC encounters .. their love their stories of when they first met me , of occasions when I was in their vicinity, a million years ago 😂 .. and how devoted ly they remember and share those moments with me as the day episode ends ..

The greetings of the day for the festival of Janamashtami .. the birth of Shri Krishn .. Lord Krishna .. and the prayers and the music of contentment overcoming all else .. in and about .. to be there with the company of the greatest in their frailty .. but still filled with the rhythm of sound ..

And before that the Wife and the Husband together on set .. for an Ad., and the camaraderie and ingenuity and the commonest of practices when the lighting and the shot construct is taking place ..

But music overrides all .. and instills in us that sound is supreme .. sound of music .. sound of resent .. sound of values .. sound of rejection .. sound of extending help and so many sounds that invade us as humans ..

Sound sleep being wished now ..

It is closing on 4:30 AM of the 7th .. and we need to respect the sunrise in a few ..

I felt this morning .. or as I lay desperately trying to get the eyes to shut for the dreams of dreams .. that .. what I had put up on various media platforms was perhaps not quite understood .. or where it came from ..

the words were composed by me , inspired by the famous Kabir doha

“गुरू गोविन्द दोऊ खड़े काके लागूं पांय, बलिहारी गुरू आपने गोविन्द दियो बताय "

guru govind dou khade kaáke lagün paáya, balihaari guru aapne govind diyo bataáy ...

Kabir Das ..

Kabir (1398–1518)  was a well-known Indian mystic poet and saint. His writings influenced Hinduism's Bhakti movement, and his verses are found in Sikhism's scripture Guru Granth Sahib, the Satguru Granth Sahib of Saint Garib Das, and Kabir Sagar of Dharamdas.

Born in the city of Varanasi in what is now Uttar Pradesh ..

the Doha, or a poetic style of writing, means, and what Kabir expresses is :

that Guru and the Almighty both stand before me ; who's feet should I touch for blessings ?

and the Doha says :

bow down your head at the feet of the Guru, for he was the one that introduced you to the Almighty - told you about the Almighty

SO .. when I saw the picture of Abhishek and myself at the GOJ , I remembered the Doha of Kabir and designed one, inspired by the Kabir Doha , and wrote -

' पिता पुत्र दोनों खड़े, काके करूँ प्रणाम , जीव दीन बाबूजी इनको, करें उन्हें साष्टांग ' ~ ab

pita putr dono khade, kaáke karü pranaam ,

jeev deen babuji inko, karén unhën sashtaang ..

meaning ..

(this as though someone from the crowd asks this question to the two Father and Son .. that the Father and Son both before me , who do I greet first with pranaam , namaste, namaskaar 🙏)

and the line next says in meaning :

life was given to them, Father and the Son, by Babuji, ( as I address my Father publicly ), do sashtaáng pranaam to him - to Babuji ..

saáshtaáng is the deepest gesture or posture of placing yourself in obeisance before the feet of any :

the deeper meaning then be that .. do not give your respectful namaste to us Father and Son .. do a sashtang to my Father, Babuji , for he created the two of us ..

and the reference goes back to the original Kabir Doha of Guru and the Almighty .. pay the respect first to the Guru, for he was the one that introduced you to the Almighty ..

Babuji in his autobiography may have said that Amitabh is my best poetry ..

BUT ..

He, Babuji was the poet !!

the Father Son standing together, who do I greeting do ; the giver of life was Babuji, in supplication, in prostration to him first

saastaang .. 8 parts of the body in greeting .. prostration of the body or supplication .. forehead, breast, shoulders, hands feet ..

there is much in life to be known and seen .. each moment a learning of immense dimensions .. the righteous and the good ever prevails and is blessed among the good .. but the unrighteous prevail too .. and often considered of value - for a while though - never in perpetuity ..

and the lines of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan from AGNEEPATH prevail .. as he sits in front of the Police head in the Station ..

ये दुनिया बहुत बिगड़ी हुई है Gaitonde साहब; इस दुनिया में बिगड़ा हुआ रहना बहुत ज़रूरी है ; जो सुधर गया वो गया, ऊपर ..

this World is a wretched, damaged place ; it is essential to remain wretched in this World .. he that hath improved or been correct, hath perished and passed away - dead !

justifying that the kind of illegal life Vijay leads it be imperative that he lead a damaged unrighteous life ..

that is the character of the film .. he has suffered so much ungratefulness, discord and evil against him and his family that it has made him bitter ..

life is strange .. it does accommodate several characters in different forms of existence .. the good shall ever prevail over the evil .. that is the poetic justice of cinema .. and that too within 3 hours .. most of us shall never witness poetic justice in our lives, in a lifetime - perhaps several lifetimes .. !!

BUT .. good shall ever exist and be stronger and in the extreme of power , irrespective .. it takes time , but it comes .. and comes in droves of gratitude .. and completion ..

persist .. persevere .. be pertinacious and patient ..

you shall never fail ..

.. a bit of the Sarkar .. minus the cigarette and the wine .. avoided and abstained by the character, and the artist that played him .. the World of design and creativity has reached the limits of imagination that cannot be denied or desisted .. applications and the immediate facilities provided at the press of a button are just a mere mention .. available as are many such others at the drop of the proverbial :

Finti - finger tip ..

never before did the tip of the tip of fingers play such an important role in human life .. open shut move switch slide punch et al .. and every other possible act that needs to act , now guided, by that differently, in every living beings, finger ..

the 'finger showing' was always associated with an ugly abuse .. not any more .. the act could still be taken as an indecent assault, but its advantages and its appropriate usage far overtake the maltreatment .. mine included -

there is grave consternation on my 'apology' and why I need to do it, when indeed the wish had already been done on the appropriate day .. or .. why should I apologise , they say, even if I was wrong ..

And I say :

'The most important thing a man can learn - the importance of three little words : "I was wrong" .. these words will get you much further than "I love you" ..

in the morning of a day when there is the hard bold letters of .. OFF DAY .. the body and mind continue to catch up on unfinished unresolved work, other that the work of the profession ..

timings , nature of work .. getting the presents right .. according what is given from the employer .. all play such a deafening sound in the cerebrum, it can cause the palpits ..

but to know that the morrow shall be in define and in the GOJ .. gives the restless figured figure semblance of the resign ..

.. still running on to KBC ..

a few thoughts for the DAY and then on to the job ..

the agility of the contestants .. their life stories and their determination all are filled with wonder and emotion .. they come from remote regions of the country .. they have hardly any facility to become knowledged enough to be on the seat with the most .. and they accomplish this feat with immense credibility and reach the summit of all they desire ..

it changes their life in a few moments, from nothing but expectation to the ultimate .. not just a sea change but an entire Universe .. their ability is jaw dropping, their demeanour simple servile and just so so endearing .. and their responses to the most incredibly difficult questions of the day stump you and you are aghast with the kind of confidence and accomplished sensibilities they exhibit ..

this land is my land and this land is the bed of fertile humans in every walk of life .. some of them one has the privilege to meet on the platform called KBC and their be in impress of their acumen ..

the surge of cheer and applause at each turn of event has given proof of the steadfast belief in the show and the kind of intensity it provides for the entire family ..

at the end of the show the opportunity I get to take some pictures for the record with the audience is turning out to be the most enlightening moments of the day .. the variety of the mass, the 'janta janardhan' their beliefs and dreams as well leave me stumbling for answers , which I find very hard to digest and expand too ..

of course my worthiness is limited .. and it becomes extremely embarrassing to be told quite the opposite .. so one digests it, without the belief of belief , and stumbles along the path ..

I must stumble on to my bed .. for the day of work is ever taxing and energy consuming ..

I shall be with you again .. later

... so yes I run onto the set of KBC .. the audience asks me why I do so .. I say I feel like doing it so I do .. they tell me we need to know the secret of your energy .. I tell them I have no secret, I was born thus , and if you need to know you shall have to ask them that created me .. and they have left for the Heavens , so how do I ask them .. they tell me we wish you to live another 500 years .. I smile .. they say yes we do .. I still smile .. they say we would never want you to change, may you remain this way all your life .. I continue to smile .. they say we read and saw an interview of mine where I stated that, I would wish to be born as my self again .. they say yes we also wish you to be born as AB , the .. and the accolades of expressions, giving me exalted positions pour out .. and they ask me to respond .. I smile and tell them, I do not believe in these accolades, but if I am reborn again as AB, then it would not be for what you are wishing me to be .. I wish to be born again if it happens , then as AB, the SON OF MA AND BABUJI .. !!!

I continue to smile .. they continue to applaud .. I get back to the game .. as the kid of last year from Himachal stunned everyone with his mature wit, said to me ..

'when you have nothing else to say you start telling us the rules of the game '

.. and yes I changed my glasses from the usual frame to the blue .. and the crew in typical style exploded with the expressions that said they looked stunning on me .. and I knew that they were all tutored to say so .. so I went on and discovered that technically things started to go wrong .. connections wirings lights voice , all started to fail .. and the show had to be stopped till it was sorted .. I felt it was the blue of the glasses that was causing all this and in the middle of the recording changed them back to the usual .. and things worked rather well .. superstitious .. NO .. nothing of the sort .. the blue was a loose frame and slid off my nose every now and then .. 😜 ..

and then the World worked fine ..

and time moves on ..

as does my love for all the Ef ...

The Hindi retort to the BBC comment on twitter was put up yesterday .. and AG Anthony did a translate as asked .. which was and is good .. but I felt one or two points needed a slight change .. so here they are ..

वो देश, जिसके संग्रहालयों का खज़ाना, केवल दुनिया से लूटे गए मूल्यवान वस्तुओं से भरा है,

that country, whose Museums are decorated and filled with the 'loot' ( a Hindi word, copied and now accepted in the English British BBC dictionary) of valued stolen artifacts and materials of the World ..

वो देश, जो मसाले की खोज में भारत आया, उसे लूटा, लोगों को मानव निर्मित अकाल में झोंका और आज भी जिसके खानों से मसाले गायब हैं,

that country, that ostensibly came to India in search of spices, and then 'looted' colonised and began ruling over us .. that created a man made famine - the dreaded Bengal famine , where they starved the locals, so England could get the food, shipped out to them .. and building a thick bush wall around the territory and borders of Bengal, so none of the famished could seek food and survival by crossing over to the rest of the Country .. that country where spices are NOT an ingredient of their food .. ( or as AG Anthony put it , do not have mines that procure spices .. though the food thought is better, because we are talking of famine and food ) ..

वो देश, जिसे अपने ही इजाद किए खेल का विश्व कप जीतने में बरसों लग गए वो देश, जिसका सूरज कभी अस्त नहीं होता था, पर आज भी अपने अंतरिक्ष संस्थान का नाम दुनिया तक नहीं पहुंचा पाया है,

that country that were the inventors of the game ( ref to Cricket ), took years themselves, to win the World Cup (in Cricket) ..

that country that prided itself by stating 'the sun never sets on its territory' .. or whose 'sun never sets' , even till today, has not been able to put their name in the World of SPACE ..

आज हमें ज्ञान दे रहा है?

that country , today imparts 'gyaan' to us .. trying to teach us knowledge and learning ..

हम भारतीयों ने दुनिया को अद्भुत संरचनाएं दीं, कला दी और भारतीय दर्शन से संस्कृतियों को प्रभावित किया और आज भी कर रहे हैं

we Indians , have given the World incredible and most unique architectural structures , art forms , and impressed the entire World with the most treasured cultures .. and still continue to do so each day ..

हम भारतीयों ने अपने मसालों और अपनी पाक शास्त्र का परचम दुनिया के कोने कोने में लहराया है

we Indians have 'flown the flag' .. an emblem of our exalted presence .. of our 'spices' and the purity of our scriptures and its divinity, to all the corners of the World ..

हमने दूसरों के इजाद किए खेल न केवल सीखे, पर उनमें महारत भी प्राप्त की और धुरंधरों को धूल चटाई है

we have not only learnt those games invented by others and created victory and success in them .. making the opposition and champions of the game 'bite the dust' in competition ..

हमने न केवल चांद और तारों ��र कविताएं लिखी, न केवल उनको देखकर सपने बुने, परंतु चांद पर भारतीय तिरंगा लहराया और अंतरिक्ष पर निरंतर और सतत जीत की ओर अग्रसर हैं।

we have not just written poems on the stars and the moon, not just built dreams about them, BUT have placed our TRICOLOuR, our Country's Flag on them , flowing with glory .. and continue aggressively, to gain victory and WIN over SPACE ..

जो कभी हम पर राज किया करते थे, उन अंग्रेज़ों की ईर्ष्या को यह चेतावनी है - यह आग तुम्हें बस जलाएगी पर इसी आग से हम अंतरिक्ष के उस छोर पर पहुंचेंगे जहां से भारत का सूरज कभी अस्त नहीं होगा।

so they that once ruled over us , those jealous British or 'angrez' as locally called, they the envious .. a warning .. this fire will just burn you , but WE shall with this fire, reach that destination and goal , from where the SUN SHALL NEVER SET ON ITS TERRITORY .. INDIA ..
