You woke up to the sun shining down on your face , the bright light shining through your eyelids and causing you to stir — lazily lifting an arm up to shield yourself from the light. You reached your other arm out to where Jaehyun was — well, where he was supposed to be, but you were met by empty , cold sheets. This was weird , he normally wasn’t up before you. Opening your eyes groggily , you blinked a couple times to adjust your sleepy eyes to the bright light before looking over to the empty spot next to you, a small pout forming on your lips — where in the world was he? He should be cuddling you in his sleep and clinging onto you and not gone! But as if on cue , the bedroom door opened and your boyfriend strutted in with a bright smile on his face. “My Baby has risen up from their beauty sleep?”, he asked almost excitedly , his voice a couple octaves higher as if he was talking to a baby , dragging his feet over to the bed before throwing himself down on you.

He was quick to smother your face in kisses , throwing a leg over your hip to cling onto you while rubbing his soft cheek against yours. “Happy Valentine’s day Baby , I was setting something up in the living room!”, his words were a bit muffled due to his cheek being squished right against yours as he continued to rub his cheek against yours — just like Pikachu does! He lifted his head up to look at you, a huge grin on his face as he leaned in and placed multiple little pecks on top of your lips before giving you a big phat smooch. A quiet yelp left your lips as he got up and suddenly lifted you up in his arms bridal style , making his way to the living room with you in his arms and letting you see what he was doing — he made a “at home cinema” just for you :( There was an air mattress in front of the couch to make it bigger , making it look like a huge bed since he put every spare blanket and pillow he could find in the apartment onto it and there was a huge white blanket attached to the wall —  a projector placed on a table behind the couch was projecting light onto the white blanket on the wall. You could only smile happily as you saw what he had prepared , turning your head to look at him before kissing his cheek repeatedly which made him giggle. “Thank you , Thank you , Thank you Jaehyunnie!”, you said in a happy tone as he placed you down on the couch where his next surprise was waiting — a Huge (insert any sanrio character) plushie with a heart between its hands which made you gasp in excitement. “Anything for my Baby”, Jaehyun grinned as he sat down next to you and pulled you into his arms —  not yet starting any movie since he just wanted to lay with you for a bit.

You were in the middle of getting ready when your doorbell rang , a happy grin spreading on your face as you touched up your hair before grabbing your Jacket , keys and tote bag that contained various snacks and drinks. You weren’t met with the face of your pretty boyfriend when you opened the door , instead , you were met by a bouquet of roses being held out to you —  Sungho’s head peeking out from behind it with a soft smile. “Thank you Yeppi!”, you smiled as you grabbed the bouquet before rushing back inside to put it into a vase with water so you could quickly come back to your boyfriend. “Wow… not even a greeting kiss”, he mumbled in a sulky tone as he watched your form disappear in the living room before you came back , laughing lightheartedly to yourself before you came to a stop in front of him. Your hands reached out to gently cup his face , leaning in and kissing his lips softly before pulling away with a grin on your face and hooking your arm with his. “There you go , big baby”, you giggled to which he could only huff , yet there was a silly smile on his face.

The two of you wanted to have a picnic today , just the two of you enjoying nature while talking and eating. The walk wasn’t that long , maybe around 20 minutes until the two of you reached the location he had picked out — there was a pretty lake with ducks swimming around on the surface , the grass was green and there were pretty flowers everywhere. “Woah… it’s so pretty here”, you mumbled as you looked around before helping him spread out the picnic blanket. “Not as pretty as you…”, Sungho whispered more to himself, his cheeks flushing slightly. You guys sat down on the blanket and started to spread everything out —  Sungho brought home cooked food and desserts with him along with some pillows for comfort, he didn’t want you to get uncomfortable at some point. 

The sun was starting to set and reflected on the surface of the lake , making the moment more romantic than it already was —  your head resting against his shoulder with your hand holding his , fingers interlocked with each other as the two of you watched the sunset. “Happy Valentine’s Day , Sungho… Thank you for today”, you said softly , turning your head a little to press a lingering kiss against his cheek which caused him to laugh softly and lean his head against yours. “Happy Valentine’s Day , my love”

❥┆ 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐤

You knew how big his love for baked goods is , so you thought it would be a good idea for the two of you to bake some yourself for valentine’s day …. Well, thought. “Oh you did not just…”, he laughed lightheartedly as the piping bag practically exploded in your face , soft pink colored cream now stuck to your cheek and shirt , your eyes wide as you stood there in shock before also laughing. “I guess we weren’t really made for baking”, you giggled as you looked down at your shirt , feeling a soft touch against your cheek as Sanghyeok swiped some of the cream off of your cheek and licking it off of his finger. “Correction , you weren’t made for baking ! My Cupcakes look pretty!”, he giggled as he pointed at his cupcakes —  the cream was messily piped on top of the cupcakes with heart sprinkles decorating it.

“Well, they may look better than mine but in the end, they only have to taste good”,you added , smiling to yourself as your lovely boyfriend cleaned the cream off of your face with a wet cloth before glancing down at your shirt.

“You look like a sweet mess. Go grab one of my shirts and change into it, I’ll wash it for you later”, he grinned before kissing the top of your nose and watching you walk away , his eyes shifting to the mess in the kitchen before they shifted to Daebak who was curiously looking at the mess. “I should start cleaning a little…”, he mumbled to himself with a quiet chuckle before putting the used utensils into the sink to wash later. “Come on , let’s taste them!”, you said as you entered the kitchen, now all cleaned up and wearing one of his oversized shirts —  helping him with putting the used items into the sink before grabbing his hand and dragging him over to the counter where your freshly made and decorated cupcakes were.

The two of you reached for one, looking at each other with loving grins on your faces. “Happy Valentine’s Day”, the two of you said in sync before biting into the baked good…. There was an unreadable expression on your faces before the two of you simultaneously placed the cupcakes you had bitten into back onto the counter —  they were dry … and hard. “Yeah no… we’re both not made for baking”, he commented as he coughed a little , reaching for the water bottle on the counter to wet his dry throat before handing it to you as you nodded in agreement. “Let’s leave the baking to the professionals…”

❥┆ 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐦𝐢𝐧

“Where are you taking me? I don’t like this…”, you could only huff at your boyfriend's words of impatience as you kept his eyes covered with your hands while you led him somewhere. You knew how much he liked vintage things and you found the perfect store that he doesn’t know yet! They also had old vinyl records so he would definitely find something he’d like. “We’re here!”, you announced as you took your hands away from his face , his eyes squinting as they adjusted to the difference in lighting before they started to almost sparkle with excitement. “How come I never knew about this store!?”, he exclaimed as he looked at it before grabbing your hand and dragging you inside of it, excitement pumping through his veins as he couldn’t wait anymore. “Well, this store was hidden quite well, not gonna lie”, you commented with a grin on your face as he dragged you around, only letting go to look at each and every single vinyl record the store had to offer. “This must be heaven…”, he mumbled in a dreamy tone as he inspected the records with admiration in his eyes.

God , he was adorable when he was excited or happy —  the way he was smiling to himself while looking at all the items the store had to offer ,even grabbing some items he would definitely buy. “Wow, (Y/n), this is pure paradise for me”, he smiled as he looked at you , quickly leaning in to peck your lips in gratitude since he wasn’t a big fan of public displays of affection. “I know Dongminnie… this is your Valentine’s Gift from me since I’m kind of short on money right now”, you replied in a sheepish tone which only made him laugh quietly. “Money doesn’t matter to me , (Y/n). This just shows that you listen to my interests and you practically found a gold mine with this store , this is more than enough”, he whispered as he kept his eyes on you before reaching into the pocket of his jacket , handing you an USB stick.

“Snakeheads! My Babies!!”, Donghyun exclaimed in excitement, almost like a child that just got a huge bag of candies as he saw the tank with the said fish species swimming around , his eyes sparkling with excitement as he pulled his phone out and took pictures of them. You had a soft smile on your face as you stood next to your Boyfriend , nodding your head as he started to yap his heart away. “They can grow up to 90 cm’s , some species can even grow up to 1m! Oh OH! And they can even breathe on land ..only up to 4 days but still! That’s so cool”, he shared as he glanced at you with a pretty eye smile on his face. “That’s really fascinating!”, you commented in awe as you looked at the snakeheads swimming around in the tank before the two of you moved to the next tank. 

It was Valentine's day and what wasn’t a better date than an Aquarium date with your fish loving boyfriend? The two of you would stop at each and every single tank , Donghyun shooting you full with information about every fish that was in there while also taking photos —  he was so happy and content to look at them all! He even bought matching keychains with fish charms on them from the souvenir shop for the two of you with a huge grin on his face :( It took around 3 hours until the two of you arrived back at the entrance of the Aquarium , your boyfriend feeling content and happy with what he saw and took photos of , his footsteps featherlight as he walked out of the building with you. “This was really great , (Y/n)! You really know how to get my heart beating”, he smiled as the two of you sat down on a wooden bench for a little break since you’ve been on your feet this whole time just standing and walking without taking a break. “Of course I do… Anything for my little fish nerd <3. Happy Valentine’s Day Donghyun!”

❥┆ 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐤

“What? Really?”, you asked just to be sure, not really sure if your delusions were talking or if you actually heard correctly what he said. “ I’m trying to be serious here!”, Woonhak whined a little as he gently shoved your shoulder with his hand , a goofy yet adorable smile on his face as his cheeks tinted red. “I’m serious (Y/n), if you don’t want to , just say so. You don’t have to lie just to be nice”, a glimmer of insecurity flickered in his eyes as he rubbed the back of his neck a little — despite having said that, he was still scared of being rejected. 

Let’s rewind back to this morning when you entered the school building and brought you to this situation.

You were humming to yourself as you walked into the building , greeting some of your friends as you made your way to your locked to open it — but , what was this? Confusion spread on your face as a pink envelope fell out of your locker with a red heart in the middle, bending down to pick it up and see if there was a name somewhere on it just to not find one. You pursed your lips in curiosity and carefully opened it , inside was a white piece of paper that had “Be my valentine” written on it with a poorly drawn snowman on the bottom , your heart immediately skipping a bit as that gave you the hint of who it was.

It was valentines day , the day everyone spent with their significant other or ,like you, alone. You hated it , but that was just you feeling sour and bitter like a lime. You envied the couples, you wished you had something like that — someone who loved you romantically, someone who took care of you, someone who’d cherish and love you just the way you are, but you didn’t have someone like that. Feeling sour and bitter about all the couples outside who’d be extra lovey dovey , you decided to stay in. Your plan?— stay in bed , rot and watch cheesy rom coms just to rub more salt into the wound. But your rotting came to a stop when you heard your doorbell ring. Confusion spread on your face — who could that be? You didn’t have any guests for today nor did you make any plans with one of your friends. You shrugged your shoulders as you thought that it may just be the mailmen since you had ordered something a couple days ago, sluggishly getting up from your bed and running your fingers through your hair to fix it a little as you made your way to the door.

God , this was embarrassing — there you stood in your pajamas , messy hair and barefaced being greeted by the dimpled smile of Jungwon, your friend but also your crush. Heat immediately rushed to your cheeks as the feeling of embarrassment settled in ,clearing your throat to overplay the way you were feeling — what was he doing here? “Wow , woke up on the wrong side of the bed? You look miserable”, Jungwon joked as he got a good look on you , holding up a plastic bag with one hand while the other hand held up some DVD’s. “I have the whole Harry potter movie series to watch and a whole bag of gummies to eat with you”, he grinned as he walked past you , ignoring your quiet huffs and complaining about how he came over unannounced. The two of you sat in the living room next to each other on your couch , sharing a blanket while watching the first Harry Potter movie —  but you couldn’t help but wonder , why was he spending valentine's day with you? You turned your head to look at him , watching as his cheeks were starting to bulge out from him constantly stuffing them with gummy worms before he noticed you looking at him. He also turned his head to look back at you , tilting his head a little while chewing as if to ask you what’s wrong —  he looked like a cute chipmunk. 

“Nothing’s wrong… I'm just wondering why you’re here with me today… Don’t get me wrong , I appreciate it even if I was prepared to rot in my bed all day and be salty. But didn’t that female coworker of yours ask you out on a date?”, you spoke while looking at him , watching the way he swallowed the gummy worms once he finished chewing them and letting out a soft hum , a cheeky grin forming on his face as he nodded his head. “She did , yeah , but I don’t care. I didn’t want to go on a date with her nor spend any time with her, she’s not the one I’m interested in”, his words made you question who he was talking about and why he never told you anything about liking someone —  he was your best friend after all!! The two of you had no secrets between each other. “Then why aren’t you spending it with them? And how come you never told me you liked someone!! I’m quite offended you didn’t tell me”, you replied with faux hurt in your tone just to be dramatic , but in all seriousness — if he didn’t want to share that with you , you’d respect that…even if it makes your heart hurt that your crush likes someone else. 

He chuckled at that before looking to the side with a flustered expression that he overplayed before looking back at you, his eyes softening as they met yours while he put the bag of gummy worms down on your coffee table. “ I am spending the day with the person I like”, he said while keeping his eyes locked with yours, a soft rose color dusting his cheeks before he looked down at the blanket. He could practically hear the gears turning in your head before your eyes widened as it finally clicked in your head. “Wait…what !?”, you exclaimed in shock , your cheeks rapidly growing hotter and hotter. He could only let out a shy giggle at that , biting the inside of his cheek. “Yes , I like you , you dumbass. Jake told me to be straightforward with you since you’re …. quite dense and never picked up on the signals I give you —  but , I am aware that you like me as well. You’re not exactly slick with hiding your feelings for me”, he replied back , his words just adding to the heat rushing to your cheeks until it spread to the tips of your ears. 

He reached into the plastic bag he placed next to the couch before holding something out to you , a box of chocolates. As your hand reached for his , he suddenly grabbed your hand gently and brought it up to his lips, placing a featherlight kiss on the back of your hand. “Happy Valentine's day (Y/n)”

❥┆𝐇𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐠

“Sorry, did you wait for too long? Traffic was really bad….”, you lifted your head up as you stopped looking down at your phone , a small smile spreading on your face as Heeseung stood in front of you with an awestruck expression on his face as his voice trailed off. “Wow… you look so pretty today—  I mean , you always look pretty but you look even prettier today than usual!”, he panicked while nervously rubbing the back of his neck with an embarrassed grin on his face as he heard you giggling quietly to yourself. He had asked you out on a date on Valentines day , the location?— The arcade! The two of you weren’t exactly just friends … but also not lovers , the lines between friendship and relationship were blurred.”I didn’t wait for too long.. Don’t worry about it , yeah?”, you replied back after you’ve stopped giggling , watching the way he pursed his lips and nodded his head before holding his hand out for you to take. Your fingers intertwined with his as you held onto his hand, his hand was warm….maybe even a bit clammy but you didn’t mind it. 

You didn’t really care about the fact that the two of you weren’t really a couple — in your head, you were. But that didn’t mean that there wasn’t a flicker of hope inside you that the label would finally change —  you didn’t want to be known as just his friend anymore, you wanted to be known as his lover and you sure as hell were tired of trying to explain this situationship of yours to your friends. You just wished you could finally call him your boyfriend instead of “Oh yeah, he’s my friend. We always kiss and do couple stuff but , we’re just friends lolol” —  you were tired of it but at the same time, there was a reason why things were the way they were. The two of you met after he had gotten out of a relationship , he didn’t want to rush things with you —  he already told you that he liked you , but that he wasn’t ready for a new relationship so soon. The wounds were still fresh , you were understanding of it.

Yet , at the same time — how much longer was he going to make you wait? “Look, the plushie looks like you”, Heeseung’s voice tore you out of your thoughts as your eyes wandering to look at him , a bright smile on his face with his eyes squinted due to him smiling as he pointed at a plushie in one of the claw games — it was a cute light blue colored otter plushie with a bow attached to the side of it’s head, holding a heart shaped seashell between its paws. You smiled at that and nudged him playfully before pointing at a hamster plushie that was holding a sunflower seed between its paws. “And there’s you!”, his smile only widened at that before he let go of your hand and walked over to the claw machine, putting a coin into the slot. “I’m going to win the otter for you , mini you needs to be united with big you”

God was he silly <3 Your heart was swelling as you stood next to him and watched him —  your hand on his shoulder as you patted him in encouragement while saying words of encouragement. But luck wasn’t on his side which caused him to sulk while holding up a little plush keychain he had won instead. “Not exactly the otter but it’ll do”, you teased as he handed you the keychain with a small pout on his face , watching as you attached it to your bag. “I almost had it… I swear”, he mumbled in defense before taking your hand and dragging you away from the claw machine —  in his words, the black bead eyes were looking at him in a mocking way! The date went well and you were sad as it was starting to get to the end of it. 

The two of you were sitting in his car as he offered, well no , insisted on driving you back home since it was late —  talking about everything funny that happened. How Heeseung accidentally smacked himself in the face with a basketball, how you had won after he confidently said he’d win, how there was a little kid trying to square him up since he had won a prize the little kid wanted and so on. The atmosphere in the car was quiet but comfortable , like it was meant to be —  his angelic voice quietly singing the songs that were playing from the speakers , finger tapping against the steering wheel to the beat before his car came to a stop in front of your apartment complex. Before you could say anything , he hastily got out of the car and rushed to your side , swinging the door open and unbuckling your seatbelt before pulling you up to your feet.What was he doing? You questioned as he dragged you to the back of his car before opening his trunk. He hesitated for a minute before stepping to the side with his hand behind his neck, letting you see what was in the trunk — there were flower petals scattered around with a letter in the middle. You looked at him before reaching for the letter and opening it , the words “Will you be my lover?” written on a blank piece of paper in red bold letters with hearts drawn around it. He cleared his throat after letting out an awkward laugh , putting his hand on your shoulder. “I know that this… isn’t really the best way to ask you out but… I really really like you (Y/n) and … I’m ready now, I’ve wasted enough time”. You couldn’t contain your excitement as you turned around and wrapped your arms around his neck , hugging him tightly before you calmed down , the grip on him loosening as you rested your head against his chest. “I would love to.. Happy Valentines day , Heeseung”

❥┆𝐉𝐚𝐲

You were excited to say the least, more than just excited —  this was the first valentines day you’d spend with your boyfriend!! You were at his house , spending time with his mother and just waiting for him to give you the green light to go back home — he was busy preparing something at your place. His mother had fun showing you all the embarrassing and cute pictures of him as a child , she really loved you and enjoyed spending her time with you. It’s been at least one and a half hours since you left him alone at your apartment , just itching to know what he was planning and doing for you —  knowing him , he was going to try to make it as special and perfect as possible. Your peaceful time with his mother ended as soon as he texted you that you can come back now and bid your goodbye’s to his mom, promising to come again to get your nails done together before leaving.

Your heart was pumping with excitement as you pulled your keys out of your pocket , the keys jingling as you unlocked your front door. As soon as you stepped in , the delicious smell of freshly cooked food filled your nose followed by the sweet smell of baked goods. Just as you were taking your shoes off, a bouquet of flowers came into your view which caused you to lift your head up, Jay’s charming smile making you smile as well as you kicked your shoes off. Wrapping your arms around him, you were immediately engulfed into the warmth of his body as he wrapped his own arms around your frame. He smelled like food, but not in a bad way , in a good way. “Sorry for kicking you out of your own apartment , but it’s worth it , I promise”, Jay whispered as he pressed a chaste kiss against the shell of your ear before taking your Jacket off and hanging it up. His hand found yours in a gentle and warm grip as he led you to the dining room , your eyes lighting up as you saw what he prepared — he made you your favorite food!! And the best thing? They had hearts cooperated in them, certain ingredients were cut up into heart shapes. It wasn’t only that, he also baked your favorite cookies !! 

“Oh wow… you really didn’t have to”, you said softly with a loving smile on your face , turning your head to look at him before gently kissing his lips. His hand moved from yours to rest on your waist to pull you closer to him , his face leaning in to press another kiss on your lips. “I didn't have to, but I wanted to. I love you, Happy valentines day my love”, he whispered against your lips before motioning for you to sit down so the two of you could enjoy the meal he cooked together.

“Layla , don’t—  crash! …. Oh Layla…”, you woke up to the sounds of loud noises coming from the kitchen , your hand coming up to your eyes to rub the sleep out of them before you lifted the blanket up. The air was cold against your warm skin , tiny bumps rising on your skin as you left the warmth of the bed and slipped your slippers on. You could smell a sweet aroma in the air as you opened the bedroom door, humming to yourself a little as you let the sweet scent sink in —  the noises were coming from the kitchen.

You blinked your eyes a little as you stared at the scene in front of you —  flour , flour and moe flour, there was flour everywhere! And…. sweet Layla rolling around in the white powder on the kitchen tiles. Were you still dreaming? What was going on? There was your lovely Boyfriend covered from head to toe in flour , trying to tug Layla away from the flour to which she’d just happily bark and wag her tail around , causing the flour to fly in the air and for Jake to start coughing before he noticed you. A nervous chuckle left his lips as his eyes landed on you , trying to pat the flour off of his clothes but to no avail —  he was completely covered in it! His once dark hair was now dusted in flour. 

“I’ll clean it up! I swear!”, he pouted before huffing as Layla got up and shook her fur, causing more flour to fly around in the air before she waddled her way over to you —  rubbing her in flour covered fur against your leg as she was just so excited to see and greet you , even though she slept in the same bed as you two , she was always excited to see you! “So… what’s going on?”, you asked softly , an amused grin on your face as you reached a hand down to pat Layla on her head (and tried to get the flour out of her fur which was basically useless). Jake sighed a little before ruffling his hair to ‘fix’ it, his pout only deepening. “I was trying to surprise you with breakfast in bed since it’s valentine's day… Long story short , I wanted to make a second batch of dough and Layla ran into me when I carried the bowl of flour over to the counter after measuring the right amount which caused the bowl to drop and… for this to happen”, he exclaimed while his eyes looked at the mess.

You couldn’t help but coo at your boyfriend's explanation while walking over to him, he was clearly upset about the mess and for ‘ruining’ the surprise. Standing in front of him, you gently cupped his face to get him to look at you , the pout still on his face as his puppy-like eyes met yours before they fluttered shut as you leaned in to kiss his forehead. “You’re so sweet , my love. But nothing is ruined … How about we eat the first batch you’ve made, clean the mess up and take a nice romantic bath together?”, you suggested as you rubbed your thumb against his cheek, watching the way he nodded his head.

“I would love that… Happy Valentine's Day (Y/n)..”

“Is…. Is this right?”, he couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly as he looked down at the bouquet of flowers he had gotten for you , not sure if you even wanted flowers or not — this was his first ever Valentine���s day , he never knew how to ‘celebrate’ it so he was feeling…. A little lost. You grinned widely , giggling to yourself at how cute he could be , especially when he was lost and a little awkward —  he was so adorable for such a strong, big guy! 

“You’re so cute!”, you cooed as you carefully grabbed the bouquet of flowers before taking his hand and leading him into your apartment. You knew this was his first Valentine’s day so you wanted to make it special and ‘ease’ him into it with everything you could do — which was a home cooked romantic dinner. Being broke and having to be careful with money didn’t give you much option other than making something — but it’s the gesture that mattered , right? Now you were the one worried if ‘this was right’ , what if he was disappointed with how you planned things? What if he didn’t like the food you cooked? Deciding to push those worries aside for now , the two of you sat down and enjoyed the food you made — well , he certainly didn’t hate it with the way his thick eyebrows furrowed approvingly.

After finishing eating, he helped you clean up —  even telling you to lay down while he was doing the dishes since you’ve spent so much time cooking and even baking cookies. “I really liked the food (Y/n)... Thank you for today..”, Sunghoon whispered as he hovered above you on the couch, his face coming into your view as he propped his hand against the couch to hold himself up in order not to crush you under his weight. He had a loving smile on his face as he looked down at you, his cheeks flushed in a soft pink color before he gasped as you wrapped your arms around him and pulled him down to you —  you were relieved to hear those words from him. He quickly recovered from the initial shock he was feeling , humming to himself before kissing your temple gently.

“You were worried , weren’t you? You shouldn’t be and didn’t have to… I'm really thankful for the food you cooked and how we spent the day. Happy Valentine’s day (Y/n)”

“Sunoo, seriously , you’re spoiling me”, you giggled as you watched your boyfriend pick out another necklace for you that he thought would look good on you. He was a hopeless romantic and obviously, he absolutely loved Valentine's day. His goal?— spoil the living daylight out of you. You’re his lover , his baby , the person with the biggest spot in his heart , he had to spoil you and he wouldn’t take no as an answer. He’s been spoiling you since you’ve opened your eyes —  having started the day with breakfast in bed and a soothing , warm bath for you (which he may or may not have joined). After that , he had helped you get dressed in an outfit he had picked out for you before dragging you to his car and driving you to the mall.

Once at the mall —  he wasted no time and directly went into almost each and every store with you, telling you to pick out whatever you wanted. Even if you just touched an item to look at it, he’d secretly put it into the basket and buy it for you , even if it was a useless item. Right now, he was picking out another necklace for you since you needed something to match the earrings he had gifted you this morning. Sunoo could only laugh at your words, shaking his head a little. “There is never enough ‘spoiling’ when it comes to you , it’s Valentine's Day and I want to make my wallet cry by spending my money on you”, he replied with a smile while holding the necklace up to visualise how it would look on you before nodding his head approvingly. His hand gently took yours again , dragging you to the cashier to pay for it , not listening to your complaints about him having spent enough money on you.

The shopping trip ended after 3 hours and it was time to relax back in your apartment, a soft smile on his face as he gently applied the same mask he had on his own face onto yours. Your heart was warming up as you saw the soft , gentle and loving gaze he had in his eyes as he applied it onto your face , your hands holding onto his waist. He hummed to himself as he finished applying it and placed the container with the face mask down on the sink counter after closing it with the lid before leaning in and gently pecking your lips.

“I love you so much (Y/n)... I hope you know that despite me giving you the sass once or twice a day”, he mumbled softly , a small chuckle coming from the two of you before you spoke up. “I love you too Sunoo… Thank you for today, Happy Valentine’s day my love”

“Sooo….”

“Sooo……..”,you repeated after him as you stood in front of your open window with your arms crossed in front of your chest, looking down at him as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, not knowing what to say after throwing stones at your window at the ripe time of 3am to wake you up AND get your attention after you had been ignoring him. Why were you ignoring him in the first place? Simple — it’s valentine’s day , obviously you wanted to spend it with the boy you liked but he said he was sick just for you to see him in the city with his friends which upset you. You felt hurt by it, why was he lying to you? Sure … you two weren’t dating but the line between friendship and relationship had long been crossed after he had kissed you on new years eve. You wanted closure , an answer to your feelings which he never gave you —  you felt played by him.

“Riki I swear to god if you don’t open that big damn mouth of yours and say someth—  I’m sorry (Y/n) , please… Can I come up so we can talk face to face?”, he cut you off , his hand dropping from the back of his neck as he looked up to you. You thought for a minute before softening up and sighing , it was pretty damn cold outside and he had been standing there for god knows how long until you had woken up. “Fine..”, with that, he took the usual route he always took whenever he snuck into your room since your parents were strict, using the tree near your window to climb up and jump onto the balcony right next to your room before climbing through your window into your room. You stepped away from the window to give him space , your eyebrows slightly furrowed as you looked at him ,clearly upset with him.

He sighed in relief as soon as the warmth of your room was warming him up before he snapped out of it , remembering what he actually came here for and cleared his throat. He took a step closer to you, his hand hesitantly reaching for yours before enveloping your hand with his cold one. “Look…(Y/n) , I can explain. I know you’re upset with me but hear me out. Yes, I lied —  I wasn't sick but I wanted to surprise you. This whole… situationship we have going on is my fault, because I didn’t want to get attached to someone ,,, to you but lately , I've been thinking a lot. I wanted to ask you to be my partner and had everything planned out… I just needed to pick something up in the city hence why I lied because it would’ve ruined the surprise otherwise. I went to pick something up and came across Jake and Sunghoon on the way, which was when you saw me. I tried to text and call you but you didn’t reply…”, Riki trailed off as he reached into the pocket of his Jacket , taking out a small velvety box.

You glanced at the box before looking at him with a raised brow to which he gestured for you to take the box and open it. Your eyes widened as you opened it just to be met by a custom made necklace from chrome hearts , your eyes drifting to look at him —  the necklace had your name engraved on it. “Riki… this must’ve been expensive !”, you replied in shock as you carefully took the necklace out to look at it properly. “I know…I’ve been saving up for it and taken more shifts to be able to get it for you… I wanted for you to see how much you mean to me and… how much I like you… your worth every single hour I overworked, every single penny I spent on the necklace”, his cheeks were starting to flush as he looked down at the ground just for the top of your head to appear in his view of sight , your arms wrapping around him as you hugged him tightly — his long arms wrapping around your frame to return the hug.

“You’re such a big idiot… making me wait for so long you dumb doofus… I like you too you Idiot…”, he couldn’t help but laugh softly before kissing the top of your head. “Happy Valentine’s Day , (Y/n)”
