My first challenge, Improvement Hell, was a way to inspire people to draw different things different ways, drawing outside their comfort zone, and most of all to draw every day. I had a few people ask for a follow up. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the sequel: Draw All The Things

Each day has three prompts. Some are specifics, others are vague, but all are geared to spark your imagination and inspiration. Take from them whatever you want. Design a character, an illustration, a collage. Singular or plural. Literal or symbolic.

Casual Mode: Pick and draw one prompt each day

Self-Portrait - Introduce yourself

Draw a figure using a reference - link to reference

Draw a figure that’s in action, using a reference - link to reference

Draw a part of the human anatomy you have trouble with. x20, with atleast 5 being skeletal/musculature studies.

Draw more figures. Quick gestures and silhouettes. x20, with atleast 10 different body shapes

Let’s have some fun. Design a character from either This or This character generator! Be creative and bring something to life!

Pick the weirdest object in your house/room. Draw it. Shadows and Highlights.

Find 2-3 objects, make a scene with them. Draw it. Bonus points for creativity. Double points for dramatic lighting.

Draw a landscape of a place you’ve never been or drawn.

Draw a BG with 1pt Perspective. Negative points if it’s a railroad or an empty street.

Draw a BG with 2pt Perspective.

Look out a window. Draw what you see. Bonus points for adding something interesting.

Draw an interior setting with the character you designed on Day #6 in it.

BG with either bird’s eye or worm’s eye view.

Halfway there! Draw three 'action’ scenes with different compositions in each. Quick sketches are fine, just make them interesting and understandable! Bonus points if it’s the same scene, but different composition.

Draw a single page comic with 5-7 panels (the story begins and ends on one page). 

Draw an animal you’ve never drawn before. x10  Link references.

Draw a car. Negative points for whining. Hint: Use a perspective grid.

Think of the thing you hate drawing the most. Guess what? Draw it! Negative points for lying to yourself.

Pick an object in your house/room. Now design a character from it, using the shapes, forms, textures, purpose and colors as inspiration. Also link/post the object you used. Negative points for using a humanoid action figure.

Draw a character/object/scene, and shade them using ONLY solid blacks and whites. Bonus points for good use of lights/shadows

Draw a different object/scene/character. Shade using hatching, crosshatcing, and/or pointillism. Bonus points for lights/shadows and textures.

Colors! Pick a color palette, and paint a scene/character/object using only those colors (some blending allowed). Bonus points for good use of lights/shadows.

Draw and color a scene/object/character - no lines allowed! (aka - lineless art). Don’t forget light and shadows!

Draw a scene/character in a style you’ve never drawn before. If emulating an artist, credit+link. Bonus for color style.

Draw a character. Draw 10 emotions/expressions. Bonus points for 'uncommon’ emotions. (i.e. anxiety, guilt, despair, loneliness etc.)

Draw three random shapes using your opposite hand (or your foot). Now design characters from those shapes.

Turn on the tv (or load your illegally downloaded movies). Pick an actor and draw them.

Almost done! Let’s have some fun. Draw some fanart. Bonus points if it’s super obscure and unknown. Make people guess what it’s from.

Last day! Find a drawing you did within the last year. Now draw it again using what you’ve learned! Link it for comparison!

Absolutely losing it over how you so perfectly capture light filtering through leaves in your background arts. Going feral. Foaming at the mouth even. I can feel the light dancing through a thousand leaves and its so pretty and so comfy.

iwanna paint more plants man..... i wonder if that would be a good road to go down although plants arent, really an interesting subject to people. but what if i MADE them interesting

i need to emphasize that light going through leaves and getting that really specific bright, explosive chartreuse color is like an actual obscenity to me. i dont rlly feel shocked by things anymore but i remember stopping in my tracks staring jaw-slightly-open at a photo of tree leaves because it was just THAT shocking. to me.

aand on to other uncredited images i foujnd. the last one makes me think of several long-necked birds peering at something

ok i got very carried away because plants fuck me up in so many ways but i dont see them very well-represented as a subject (They Are very complex and REQUIRE a variety of colors) (ill give everyone that) but we coexist with these things and the world tricked me at an early age into thinking dark-greenish-yellow was an ugly color. there are so many people who haaate the color green and for what......

Yeah, I can! I should've done this sooner but this is going to be similar to the other Queen Chrysalis content I've done.

Yandere! Queen Chrysalis Concept

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation/Deception, Controlling behavior, Toxic themes, Murder implied, Violence, Changeling behavior, Kidnapping/Isolation, Stalking, Hypnotism, Forced relationship.

I've said this before but I believe Chrysalis would have a high chance of being a yandere with "romantic" intentions.

This is due to the nature of Changelings in MLP.

They feed off of love, which can be seen in her debut episode with Shining Armor and Cadance.

Chrysalis' main way of courting her obsession is pretending to be somepony she isn't.

She'd pretend to be a loved one to try and lure you in closer to her.

This can either be somepony you're already dating, or she can pick a disguise that matches your type.

Chrysalis would infiltrate your life in order to get what she wants.

She feeds off love which is what drives her obsession.

As a Changeling she can play the role well.

I guess you could consider her as "subtle" since you won't know of her existence for a long time after the obsession starts.

Her plans are slow, methodical, and patient.

She knows she'll get what she wants in the end, she just needs to play her cards right.

In your eyes, you just see your one true love.

Far as you know your love is still your lover, and your friends are still your friends.

You'd have no idea they were all slowly being replaced by Changelings.

By the time you do find out you'd be having a crisis, struggling to figure out what's real and what's fake.

But hopefully you never do.

Chrysalis would remain a low intensity yandere until her plans have been found out.

She plays the role of your lover, giving you affection and playing her part well.

Your preferences don't matter, she can most likely replicate it all.

She doesn't have to worry too much about jealousy or anypony alerting you.

Why? Well, she easily has them dealt with and replaced with Changelings.

"Dealt with" can mean many things... but hopefully she decides nothing lethal.

Hopefully.

Even if you began to suspect something is off, she's quick to distract you and tell you that things are all okay.

She distracts you with kisses, nuzzles, whatever ponies do for affection.

Luckily, you believe her.

If one of her Changeling children got caught, she makes a display of getting rid of them.

After all, if she didn't there's a good chance she can be caught too.

Chrysalis will play this game as long as she can... right up until she can't do it anymore.

Even if you learned of the truth, you won't be getting away.

How upsetting... she was hoping to have this be easy.

But if you fight her then she'll use a spell to make you compliant, still supplying her your delicious love... even if you aren't fully there mentally.

All she cares about is feeding off of you and having you by her side.

By this point... she doesn't just see you for a food source.

She sees you as something more but isn't quite sure how to experience it properly.

The scariest part about this yandere is the fact she can go undetected for so long.

You won't know the danger that lurks near you everyday...

Not until it's too late, at least.

"Come on, dear... I promise to treat you like that other pony would... in exchange for that delicious love you have, of course!"

Just a silly little fit I drew up for Meeshell, I def think she’s a huge fan of pearls and tries to incorporate it into her clothing as much as possible. I would argue she loves to sing karaoke, she LOVES fashion and enjoys figuring out how to design her own clothes, is a huge fan of makeup (because it’s really hard to get it to stay and be as vibrant underwater) and she’s definitely a crafter (she made her mirror).

Uhm, hi!! I'm wondering if I could request some headcanons for how Cynthia would be with a fem!s/o? There's like no content of Cynthia for fem readers out there and it hurts my gay little heart :C

S/o is a coordinator that loves cute things/Pokemon, and is basically the "shy smol sweet feminine girl" trope but with a hidden silly/crude side around people she's comfy towards lol. :"3

Cynthia:

-No one realises Cynthia and her s/o are together until she rocks up at one of the her s/o's contests and openly cheers s/o on from the stands. And then when it's over, regardless of the result she just casually waltzes up to her s/o, declaring praises before kissing them.

-"You know sometimes I like to get on my bike and challenge Garchomp to a race." Cynthia plays into her s/o's silly side, because she finds it funny. "Maybe you should join in?" "Cynthia what the fu-" There's something about her s/o just casually dropping the word fuck when they barely enjoy speaking in public that never fails to crack her up.

-Or when s/o turns around and says: "how do you think Garchomp would feel participating in a contest with me?" Cynthia is amused, Garchomp is not.

-Loves helping her s/o prepare for a contest, Cynthia is waiting with an eyeliner in hand and make up splayed out on the counter. She also loves placing bows onto her s/o's Pokémon. Sometimes she'll turn to her Garchomp and offer to put a ribbon on its claws, it always refuses.

-"Are you sure your outfit doesn't need any black? I have plenty to spare." "No it's okay!" Totally slips a black ribbon onto s/o's Pokémon when they aren't looking anyways.

How would a xenomorph queen be as a yandere?

Yandere! Xenomorph Queen Concept

Pairing: Animal/Pet-like

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Kidnapping, Murder, Possessive behavior, Isolation, Punishment, Drooling, Scenting, Forced relationship (?)

Well, to get a Queen to like you... you had to know the Xenomorph before she matured.

Before she was fed royal jelly to become a Praetorian, soon a Queen, she came across you.

Like a typical Xenomorph drone with their darling, the drone followed you everywhere.

To the point she felt the need to start nesting, forcing affection upon you before fleeing.

You would have known the Xenomorph for months as her life cycle matures fast.

You were still attempting to get used to her and her strange affection before she... stopped coming-

You weren't worried for her in the slightest, relieved actually.

Now you didn't have a beast coming up to you to chitter, coo, and drool at you....

You were at peace.

Meanwhile, your Xenomorph was simply gourging herself on royal jelly to mature.

She'd be a good Queen for you!

It's her duty for you and the hive.

By the time she emerges from her coccoon as a Praetorian, the pre-Queen wants to look for you again.

She misses you.

Maturing is so difficult when she isn't comforted by you and your reluctant care.

Her Queen, who she soon will not answer to, tells her to be patient.

She must be a fully mature Queen before she can successfully take her human.

Listening to her "mother", she sets out to create her very own nest.

She has drones create the nest she'll reside in... resin coating walls of a cave she picked out with you in mind.

Once set, she spends more time maturing with royal jelly... before emerging as an adult Queen, pumping eggs to make drones of her own.

Drones for her and you.

This will be your family.

By the time you overcome your fear of the Xenomorph you met, you're abducted by drones.

Knocked out, you're dragged deep into the depths of the hive.

The Queen hisses in approval when you are set in her arms, drool covering you in the scent of the hive.

Her children will not attack you... as they are yours too.

Her scent is all over you.

Having a Queen so attached to you will be impossible to escape from.

Most of the time she'll keep you in her arms, sitting on her egg sac and cooing.

She is capable of leaving the egg sac, although then she can't lay more eggs until it regrows.

She wants to have more children for the both of you, though....

She'll let you go sometimes, but you're never allowed far.

Facehuggers tend to activate by motion triggers, although due to "being part of the hive", you're fine.

She adores you, often scooping you up with her tail to trill at you.

She seems to always know where you are, she has eyes everywhere.

Drones constantly watch over you, chittering at you with respect as you walk around the nest.

Try to leave, however, and they'll tattle....

They'll screech and drag you back to their mother.

Said Queen is upset at you for trying to leave the family she created for you.

Why are you trying to leave?

She spent months away from you!

To a Xenomorph, that's a long time.

She created everything for you.

The hive, the eggs, the drones...

Your children.

Would you really just abandon them?

No... her human needs discipline.

Her drones would resin you to the wall of her nesting area.

You're stuck there, forced to accept the food they find for you while the Queen continues to lay more eggs.

She thinks with some more learning you'll be a good parent to them.

A Queen removing her egg sac from herself is painful, but if she has to, she'll leave it for you.

This is usually if you're taken from her by force.

A firing squad tries to take you?

She's fighting for this hive.

You try to warn them about the Queen's temper, yet...

They're overwhelmed by the drones and a newly detached Queen, snarling with rage.

They'll pay.

They'll pay for trying to destroy this family.

Once the squad died, trampled by the bug-like beasts, the Queen scoops you up.

Nuzzling you with her foreign mouth, she tries to comfort you.

Why else would you be crying?

That squad clearly scared you!

You're not scared of her... can't be!

She's family.

She's taking care of you like you did with her.

Isn't this what you humans do?

She wants to understand your way of love.

It's impossible, but she's determined.

She'll do whatever she can to make you feel like family...

Even if you're hurt in the process, she can't even understand your pain.
