"ربّما يساقُ إليك قدرٌ من أقدار الله خيرٌ من كل أحلامك، فتتبدلُ الأحوال واللهُ على كلِّ شيءٍ قدير"

Perhaps a decree from Allah is brought to you that is better than all your dreams, and circumstances change, for Allah is capable of everything.

اللّٰه يحيط بك من كل جانب، ويعلم عنك ما لم تعرفه أنت عن نفسك، وما يكنُّ به صدرك وما يهمس به فؤادك، وما يسار بك في كل يوم وليلة فاطرد من عينيك همزات اليأس وثق بالذي لو شئت منه نجمة,،لأعطاك السماء بالفلك، فما صادق اللّٰه صادقٌ باليقين وردّه، ولا أتى الباب مُخلص فصُدَّ.

Allah surrounds you from every side, and He knows about you what you do not know about yourself, what your chest harbors, what your heart whispers, and what happens to you every day and night. So, cast away the whispers of despair from your eyes and trust in Him, for if you wished for a star, He would give you the sky with its galaxies. Whoever is sincere with Allah with certainty will never be disappointed, and whoever comes to His door sincerely will never be turned away.

‏من ظنَّ بِالله خيرًا، فلنْ يُخيِّب الله ظنَّه، ومن شكر الله علىٰ نعمةٍ، زادهُ الله مِن فضله، ومن توكَّل على الله فهو حسبه

Whoever thinks well of Allah, Allah will not disappoint them. Whoever thanks Allah for a blessing, Allah will increase them in His bounty. And whoever relies on Allah, He will suffice them.

Shaytaan beautifies love before marriage and makes it ugly after marriage. Shaytaan's intention is to destroy you and your children. Seek Allah's help against shaytaan

إذا أراد الله لك خيراً، جنّد كل من على الأرض لينالك هذا الخير، وإذا أراد الله منعك من شر، سخر كل من على الأرض ليحميك منه فلا تخف واطمئن، فأمر الله نافذ بكل حال.

If Allah intends good for you, He will mobilize everyone on earth to bring you that good. And if Allah intends to protect you from harm, He will employ everyone on earth to shield you from it. So do not be afraid and be at peace, for Allah's command will prevail in all circumstances.

وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّۢ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍۢ فَلَا رَآدَّ لِفَضْلِهِۦ ۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

“And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but Him; and if He intends for you good, then none can repel His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”

(Quran 10:107)

If a Muslim woman understands, the biggest insult to her is to be called someone's girlfriend.

Women are born with their value; men earn theirs.

Women are born at the top of the mountain.

Men are born in the valleys around it.

A man is judged by how far he climbs.

A woman is judged by how far she falls.

Men have much to gain.

Women have much to lose.

A man has to prove his worth.

A woman has to preserve her worth.

Masculinity is built

Femininity is preserved.

"Allah never wronged them, but they wronged themselves."

7 tips in getting closer to Allah SWT

read the Qur'an everyday reading the word of Allah and understanding what you are reading will make you feel close to Him as you know that this is not a Book that anyone has just written - it has come directly from Allah SWT. subhanallah. reading and understanding what He says will make you want to practise what the Qur'an says and, in turn, be closer to Him.

be around people who remember Allah human beings have great influence on each other so it is important to have righteous people around you. their relationship with Allah SWT will inspire you to build and improve yours.

understand what you recite in salah knowing what you are reciting will help you understand how many blessings you are gaining with just a single prayer. take time to learn the translation (if you do not speak/understand arabic) of what you are reciting and why.

learn Allah's 99 names and attributes 'And to Allah alone belong all perfect attributes; so call on Him by these' (7:181) Allah likes it when we call Him by his names and it is important to recognise and understand Him. think of Him as your friend: when you get to know someone better, you get closer to them. it is the same thing, in fact, better, with Allah SWT.

have secret good deeds between you and Allah again, like having a friend, having something that is just between you and your Lord will make you feel closer to Him.

make lots of du'a - especially in sujood having your dua's come true is the best feeling, especially when you have been praying for something for a long time, alhamdulillah. praying for anything, no matter how big or small, will make you feel closer to Him as you know that He alone will make everything okay and knows what is best for you.

remember death and prepare for it this one can be very hard but it is important to remember that death can come at anytime so always try and do good deeds and live righteously in order to please Allah. when having this mindset that each day is a new chance to seek forgiveness and do good deeds, you will feel closer to Him by wanting Him to be happy with you.

why dhikr is important

it brings you closer to Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ

the pleasure of Allah is achieved - "the pleasure of Allah is the greatest of all" (9:72)

it comforts the heart - "it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts can find comfort" (13:29)

when one remembers Allah and is absolutely certain that He has unlimited powers and can and will remove any hardship, the heart feels less anxious.

Allah becomes the Friend of the one who remembers Him - "remember Me, and I will remember you" (2:153)

the heart is strengthened and you develop the power to battle evil and be successful - "O believers! when you face an enemy, stand firm and remember Allah often so you may prosper" (8:46)

the prayer of one who remembers Allah is accepted. surah Fatihah, for eg, is a prayer but it begins with dhikr - 'alhamdulilah' and remembers his attributes, like 'ar-Rahman,' 'ar-Raheem' and then the prayer is made.

your love for Allah will grow as you are constantly thinking about Him and He is inside your heart

it drives Shaytan's whispers out from the heart

it gives you patience through trials as you understand Allah is always there

it removes worry and sadness from one's heart

it provides the chance to enter through the eighth gate of Jannah: 'Baab al-Dhikr' - for the believers who constantly remembered Allah

it is a noor for you on the day of judgement that will keep you steady on the sirat (bridge that guides you to Jannah)

'a man does nothing to rescue himself from Allah's punishment better than remembering Allah' (hadith)

'everything has a polish, and the polish for hearts is the remembrance of God. nothing is more calculated to rescue from God's punishment than remembrance of God' (hadith)

it shows gratitude to Allah - which He loves

you will accept that He has power over everything which will make you trust Him more

your mind will focus continuously on Allah which will motivate you to live your life by the Qur'an and sunnah to please Him more

it creates love of Islam in one's heart

it protects you from harm

the angels surround all four sides of any gathering in which Allah is being remembered and rain down His mercy upon it

it helps you with hardship and trials taken for the sake of Allah

"remembrance of Allah indeed is the greatest virtue" (29:46).

Du’a when it rains

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا

Allahumma sayyiban nafi‘an

Translation (with brief explanation):

O Allah, (make it) a beneficial downpour. (Bukhari)

Another version of the Du’a is:

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَيِّبًا هَنِيْئًا

Allahumma sayyiban hanian

O Allah, (make it) a wholesome downpour. (Abu Dawood)

Some benefits of reading this Du’a:

1) We will be following a Sunnah of our beloved Nabi ﷺ.

2) We will be remembering Allah Ta’ala during a time when he is blessing us. Allah Ta’ala loves this.

3) We will be reminding ourselves that rain is beneficial when Allah Ta’ala wants it to and it can be harmful too.

4) We will Insha’allah be saved from harmful rain and be granted the blessings and benefits of rain.

5) We will be following the advice of our amazing Nabi ﷺ.

6) Rain is a time of Allah Ta’ala’s mercy, so by reading this Du’a we will be turning to Allah Ta’ala at a time of mercy.

How beautiful is that heart of yours that experiences the worst storms in life and still chooses to stay gentle, patient, and humble.

When Allah said, "I only test those I love," take the pain like it is an honour. You'll win twice, here and hereafter.

Ya Allah this blessed month of Ramadan is now coming to an end, please help me to remain steadfast in your Deen. Grant me the knowledge of Deen. Ya Allah, you are truly merciful, please forgive me.

You will be in your grave for hundreds or thousands of years. Reciting and reflecting on Surah Mulk takes around 10-15 minutes a day.

Narrated Abu Huraira (ra):

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed there is a Surah in the Quran of thirty Ayat, which intercedes for a man until he is forgiven. It is (Surah)Tabarak Alladhi Biyadihil-Mulk."
