chaaeun-woo:
another cold afternoon in seoul meant that eunwoo was visiting the local coffee shop. it was only a walk away from his home that he went often. the barista begun on his drink the moment he stepped foot inside since he ordered the same thing every time he visited. eunwoo tapped his phone to the machine to pay for the drink, and stood aside until they called his order. from the corner of his eyes, he could see a familiar face that stood out amongst the rest in the shop. he thanked the employees then took a seat next to the person he noticed before.
"seems like the cold wants to stay a little longer, doesn't it?" he blew into the coffee, and looked out to the window just in time to see the wind ruffle the branches that was located near the shop. "it's moments like these when i want to stay in bundled under a blanket," it was tempting to head towards his place and finish his coffee there, but the idea of socializing seemed far more tempting to the actor. "enjoying your afternoon?" he asked the other.
winter was by far yuna’s most favorite time of year, even with the frigid temperatures being a constant threat to her sanity. still, there was nothing more refreshing than stepping inside a warm building for a hot beverage after being outside in the cold for as long as she had been that day. turns out, she wasn’t nearly as prepared as she should have been for her day off, but hopefully a nice hot coffee, or cup of tea would do the trick.
which is where she found herself now, at a coffee shop not too terribly far away from where she spent part of the day shopping. it didn’t take too long for her drink to be prepared, and when she finally had the liquid gold cradled in her grasp, she held it close like a baby and let it warm her hands while she searched for a seat near the window. the perfect spot for people watching. yuna sighed happily as she took the first sip of her drink, though she coughed a little from the heat that traveled down her throat. note to self, wait a little longer before taking another sip. she pouted a little as she tried to blow on it, so into the task that she hadn’t noticed when the male approached and made himself comfortable near her. “ oh eunwoo-ssi, hi! ” she greeted, with a little nod of her head as she finally braved the idea of taking another sip of her coffee. “ yeah, it does. there are a couple more months or so left in winter, after all. it’s only just begun. ” she replied, her eyes following his own to gaze out the window, but only briefly before they returned to him.
“ i am, just doing a bit of shopping for today. then i’ll probably hit up the gym, later, but for now... i wanted to treat myself. how is your day going? have any plans? ”

-Now that the holidays were rolling back to back, Changkyun wanted to have adventures to enjoy his days off. Sitting at home was fine, but he wanted to get out of his daily routine. Ice skating wasn’t an activity that he did often that he happily agreed to accompany Yuna to show off his amateur skills. By no means was he terrible on the ice, but he was no pro either. The rapper tightened the laces before he double knotted them just as he moved to the next skate to repeat the movements.
“All ready to go,” Changkyn stood to confirm that the skates were stable on his feet before he moved over to the ice. His muscle memory quickly kicked in when he stepped foot on the ice and he balanced himself without hesitation. “I was a little worried that I was going to fall on my ass.” He admitted with a smile and glanced over at Yuna. “If I fall, though, don’t tell anyone about it. I won’t recover from such embarrassment.”
yuna watched the older man with a small and satisfied smile as he laced up, seeming to move somewhat easily from his place on the bench and out to the ice. getting onto and off of the ice however, was the easiest part. she can’t help but let out a little snort of air, leaning back up off of the wall as she stood in a straight position again before she moved to his side. “ the night is still young, you know. the real fun hasn’t even started yet! ” she reminded changkyun with a grin, swinging her arms back and forth.
“ i won’t tell a single soul about it. and by that, i mean i am going to catch it all on video and use it as blackmail against you, should i need to one day. ” yuna teased, finally starting off with small strides across the ice. her eyes kept glancing over to him, making sure she wasn’t leaving him behind and that he was getting along okay. “ so be careful. let’s go! ”

bannbam:
* grace and swag was how bambam would describe his skill on the dance floor. the idol was confident having an audience, but that confidence slowly wore at the sight of the ice. on skates, he was decent. decent meaning that he gripped on his members clothes to lead him around the floor. ice skating, though, he wasn’t too sure if he could stand straight or would wobble. fake it until you make it was one of his favorite phrases. there was no backing out now. not when yuna looked sure enough for both of them. her hands had gracefully laced her skates while he was struggling to tighten the laces without his eyes wandering to the ice.
his eyes went back to his skates, focusing on what was in front of him instead of watching. yuna step on the ice. his fingers tightly knotted one of his skates before moving to the other.
“i think i’m almost” he quickly finished the next one when he finished his original sentence “done!” he proudly looked at his work then looked over at yuna. “now it’s just a matter of making it over to the ice” he laughed once he struggled to take a few steps forward and reached out as a reaction to try and balance himself. “you’re a pro on this thing.”
try as he might to make it not so obvious that he wasn’t so mentally prepared to step out onto the ice, yuna could still tell he was a bit nervous. it showed in the way his focus was almost laser when he was tying the laces on his skates, ( almost like he were trying to defuse a bomb ), and she couldn’t help but giggle softly to herself as she looked on. “ believe it or not, walking on the carpet is super easy! ” she said, as an attempt at being encouraging while he finished tying the skates and began the trek over to the rink.
despite that there was some struggle, but yuna moved so she was standing right at the rink’s entrance, holding an arm out for the other to grab onto in case he needed it, like it were a lifeline in a frozen and desolate landscape. the woman gasps a little when he wobbled, but her breath evened out when he seemed to steady himself.
“ practice makes perfect, you know. it’s the same for the ice as it is for anything else. you’ll get the hang of it, if you come out often enough. we’re off to a good start though. don’t worry, i’ve got you! ”

@hwangbiz
from the very millisecond hwang eunbi had told the woman about her date to the winter gala, yuna had about a million questions run through her mind. she actually had to forcibly bite down on her lips to keep herself from asking each and every single one in an attempt not to spook her friend, but god was it hard. she had been waiting for this moment for years now, even more than the pair themselves she suspected. it was actually a miracle she didn’t have any money down on the eventual formation of the budding romance.
now here she was at the winter gala without a date herself, but she was living vicariously through eunbi at this point. she felt like she was the one on the date, and not her member. to put it simply, it was ridiculous. she had no interest in the man, but she was just so excited she couldn’t help herself. she was one potted plant with giant leaves away from hiding and just watching the two the entire night like a weirdo. despite all of that, yuna behaved herself. she ate, she drank, she danced, mingled, jingled, everything. eventually she just couldn’t take it anymore. she rushed out to the balcony, ignoring the biting cold as she fished her phone out and sent a hurried text to eunbi.
can you come out to the balcony??? please?? my dress- i came outside and it- i can’t come back inside looking like this!
with a satisfied smirk she pocketed her phone once more, hugging herself in an attempt to keep warm as she waited for the text to be received.

@seoulessrp
despite ultimately choosing the path of becoming a singer, yuna had always had a love for figure skating and sports in general. in gfriend, she was known as the sporty member of the group, having been one to excel in numerous athletic challenges that were presented to her. though many things had changed over the years, her love for the sport wasn’t one of them. the holidays even presented an extra excited feeling for the activity, given that whole areas were transformed into outdoor ice skating rinks drenched with the spirit of Christmas. it was different than visiting an indoor one any other time of year, much more awe-inspiring and magical, and despite the frigid temperatures from both the outside weather and the frozen ice combined, the woman had felt a warmth that stretched all the way from the depths of her bones to the ends of her limbs.
yuna had finished lacing up her skates and readily stepped out onto the ice with ease, spinning a little to face the barrier and rest her arms over the wall as she looked at her skating partner for the day.
“ are you all laced up and ready to go, or do you need some help? ”

hwangbiz:
「 ❤ 」 → ever since that night a year and a half ago now that they’d found out they were going to be disbanding, there was one fear in eunbi’s heart. it was like a little ball of dread in her chest and it revolved around only one thing. it wasn’t about not being in a group, anymore. it wasn’t about her career. it wasn’t about any of those sort of clinical things. it was about her friends. she loved the other five members of her group like they were sisters and she truly felt that they were. she’d spent more time with them than anyone and she remembered what a big challenge it was to be far away from them for a long time for the first time in over six years. that was the part that had broken her heart the most. it was the idea of being away from her family. it was part of the reason viviz had formed and part of the reason that she made sure to see the other members as often as she could. tonight, everyone had been feeling rather nostalgic and reflecting on the old days and she’d found herself getting dressed to go for another of her night walks along han river. tonight, though, it wasn’t something she wanted to do alone. she wanted to laugh and joke around and a part of her wanted to feel like it was the old days again so when she’d agreed to meet with yuju at their usual place along the river, she was more than overjoyed. she paced back and forth for a bit while waiting for her friend, a genuine light coming across her face as she waved with both arms greeting the other. ❝ eonnie! over here! ❞
it didn’t matter how much time had passed, nor how far along on their separate paths the women were – when one of her members called, one of her sisters, yuna would always come running, emergency or not. this time was no different. when eunbi had reached out to her, the vocalist was eager to wrap up her workout for the night so that she could head home for a brief shower and a quick change in order to meet the younger woman on time. meetings such as this always sparked a myriad of feelings within her. there was no denying that she was excited to meet one of her best friends, but the fact that doing so wasn’t as easy as just leaving from the dorm or something equivalent together was not lost on her. being a solo artist came with it’s own set of challenges, and as she had come to find, loneliness was one of them. it wasn’t surprising, after having spent so many years with five other girls. even when they’d moved into new neighboring apartments, they were still close by. if she had felt something like that, a member was just a door knock away, not a scheduled arrangement through text message.
all these thoughts however slowly melted into the back of yuna’s mind the closer and closer she got to her destination, and she was filled with nothing but excitement when she finally arrived at their usual spot. the woman looked around, eyebrows knitting together as she squinted, as if by doing so would somehow make it easier for her to find eunbi. she doesn’t have to look for long, but that’s mostly because the woman in question finds her first. she would recognize that voice anywhere, and the second it reaches her ears she turns in the direction of the source, her hair ponytail whipping around and smacking her in the face with the sheer force with which she moved. yuna briefly flinched as she let out a startled and somewhat pained ‘ack’, but shuffled her feet towards eunbi quickly despite that, her arms waving frantically as she mirrored the other woman’s gestures. “ eunbiyah! hi, i made it! and i didn’t get turned around this time, either. ”
