I downloaded some books about folklore and i keep getting more and more convinced that capitalism is wrecking so many areas of academic study. In the past 20 years or so there's so many untapped areas of study that aren't getting any attention.

In particular a critical period of the development of internet folklore is going virtually undocumented and ughhhhh it's so frustrating

Takarazuka Elisabeth Stream Series, The Return!!

Hello again!! Zukabeth stream season has arrived once again!! Over the next months, Chelsea and myself are going to be running a stream series of all of the Takarazuka Elisabeths, on an approximately weekly schedule! We’ll be doing two streams per night, spaced out so it will be in the awake hours of as much of the world as we could make it! These streams will be planned at (we’re aiming to keep this the same for all the streams):  Stream 1 (Lost Stream) - at 21:00 Amsterdam Time Stream 2 (Chels Stream) - at 05:00 Amsterdam Time If you would like to join us, the rules are simple: DM me here on tumblr or Chels over on her linked twitter (depending on which stream you want to go to, because I sure will be asleep when it’s Chelsea’s stream time) and we will provide you with a link and password! Don’t be nervous, everyone is welcome, we just like to know who is watching along with us. Sometimes I’m looking for something online - often “how to” articles - and I want to filter for - like - a website that was clearly built in 2010 at the latest, which may or may not have been updated since then, but contains a vast wealth of information on one topic, painstakingly organized by an unknown legend in the field with decades’ worth of experience. I don’t want a listicle with a nice stolen picture in a slideshow format written by a content aggregator that God forgot. I want hand-drawn diagrams by some genius professor who doesn’t understand SEO at all, but understands making stir-fries or raising stick insects better than anyone else on this earth. I don’t know what search settings to put into Google to get this.
