When Lup first met Barry, she’d thought he was just about the raddest dude she’d ever met.

Of course, back then she hadn’t really thought of him as a dude.

She’s still kind of in awe of the Starblaster, despite having been on it about half a dozen times.

It’s a beautiful ship, all sleek chrome and glass, exactly like Lup had imagined spaceships when she’d been a kid. The bridge is full of instruments that go beep or ping or beewhoop, which is her favourite. She’s got no idea what the beewhooper is meant to indicate, but it’s so Star Trek that she doesn’t even care. Her room is perfunctory; a bed, a chest, and a desk, pushed up against the blank, cream-coloured walls, but it’s more than she’d had when she was a kid, living on the streets. She threw a rug down and some posters up and it practically felt like home. And, of course, her favourite part – when Davenport had given them the demonstration, that enormous ring on the back of the ship had spun up and crackled and zapped and it was just about the fucking coolest thing she’d ever seen.

Taako, of course, had pretended to be unimpressed, but the effect was ruined somewhat by the fact his eyes were the size of dinner plates as he watched, his mouth so wide Lup’d thought he’d unhinged his jaw somehow.

Candlenights 2020 Announced!

This pre-taped extravaganza will feature video segments from MBMBaM, Sawbones, Shmanners, Wonderful, and Still Buffering, as well as appearances from special guests! All benefits from the show will be donated to Harmony House, which seeks to end homelessness in the Huntington area through permanent housing and supportive service programs.

The show will air on December 19th at 8PM ET. Tickets are pay what you want with a $6.25 minimum, and the show will be available through January 4th, 2021. Amnesty headcanons you will have to pry from my cold, dead hands:

1) the Amnesty Lodge Halloween Costume Contest is the most anticipated event of the year for the entire town, because those motherfuckers go hard

2) second place is the most hotly contested position and ensures town-wide fame for the entire year

3) Barclay gets first place every year despite the fact that he insists on wearing a different shitty Bigfoot costume every time. The town doesn’t really get it but it’s a tradition now and they’re pretty sure that the town will burn down if he doesn’t win.

Juno Steel Private Eye gets a tip that the Rockport Slayer will be on the train to Neverwinter and runs into THB He immediately notices that

a. these three are catastrophically bad liars and

b. Taako and Magnus are Hot. in like opposite directions sure, but damn

Meanwhile in Hyperion City Angus Mcdonald, Boy Detective looks Peter Nureyev dead in the eye. “Well Sir I did detective good enough to see through your horseshit so how about you tell me the truth about this mask and save us both some trouble.”
