Hi!

It's me!

I've been away for awhile! In that time I briefly got to work my dream job and then got laid off, randomly exploded on Good Omens tiktok, and got much better at drawing. Not really in that order but it's the best way to lead into posting a bunch of art examples

ANYWAY this update basically is just to let people know I still exist and still love Dragon Age! I'm just doing other stuff rn. I have started to hyper my fixation on Baldur's Gate like everyone else in this fandom though so. That might start popping up here because why not

Fake Banter - Alistair’s Proposal

Second of the reformat reposts! I LOVE the Warden Queen ending of Origins but always thought it was weird that you and Alistair never discuss it first. So. I wrote a fake conversation between Alistair and the Warden where he asks you to be his queen. Multiple options and all

Alistair: So I was thinking, if they’re going to make me king then I guess- eventually- I’ll be expected to uh…

Warden: Rule the kingdom?

Alistair: That too yes, but I was really thinking about being expected to…find a queen.

Warden Option 1: Oh…

Warden Option 2: I’ve been trying not to think about that.

Warden Option 2: There are a lot of noble women who might be interested

Alistair: Yup, comes with the hat they tell me. I don’t want it to be just anyone. That got me thinking…why can’t- why can’t it be you?

Warden: Me?

Alistair: You’re the daughter of a Teryn. That makes you pretty high up on that nobility food chain I’ll have to actually understand now. Honestly, you’re probably more legitimate than me. You know more about this than I do and… it sounds like it could work. I want it to work. What do you think?

Warden Option 1: I don’t know, that’s a big commitment

Warden Option 2: We haven’t been together for long, Alistair

Warden Option 3: Did you just propose to me?

Alistair (option 1&2): I know, it feels a little insane to me too but, the idea of it being someone I’ve never met that’s just- picked for me, that scares me. That terrifies me. I’m getting the impression that what we have is- rare, and I don’t want to lose it. Lose you.

Alistair (option 3): Oh uh, I guess I did. Not how I thought that’d go. I didn’t even get to hire the lute player or bring out the fifty cheese wheels. This’ll have to do.

Warden Option 1: What about heirs?

Warden Option 2: There is Anora

Warden Option 3: Would the people approve of two wardens on the throne?

Warden Option 4: Are you sure you’ve thought this through?

Warden Option 5: Ask me again, properly

Alistair (Option 1): I’ve thought about that particular factor too. I say… it’s up to you. There are others we could name as heir if we need to. If you did want to go that route, you should know they say it’s hard for Gray Wardens to have children. Doesn’t mean we can’t try, of course.

Alistair (Option 2): Oh Maker- look, Anora seems… fine. She’s fine. I don’t know her though, that’s the thing. I know you, I trust you, and… I love you. I love you. If there’s anyone I can imagine being at my side through this, it’s you.

Alistair (Option 3): I don’t know. I’m sure people that don’t like us on the throne will pull out every dirty secret they can find. If any of them did try to disrespect you, then I can’t say I’d care much for their opinion regardless.

Alistair (Option 4): This is all I’ve thought about for weeks. I’ve wondered if I’m crazy. I've been terrified I’d scare you away if I asked but, I am sure. I had to ask.

Alistair (Option 5/end of all options): So, ahem, will you, the bravest, bestest, most beautiful woman I have ever had the honor to know, be my queen?

Warden Option 1: Yes

Warden Option 2: I’ll think about it

Warden Option 3: No

Alistair (Option 1): Really? Really? Oh… I didn’t think- thank you. Thank you. I promise I’ll be the best king- the best husband to you. I love you, so much, you won’t regret this I swear it to you.

Alistair (Option 2): Of course, it’s not like it’s anything we need to decide now. We don’t know if I’ll even be king yet so it might not be important. It would mean a lot if you did think about it, and let me know when you’ve decided. I won’t bring it up again, though, I’ll wait as long as you need.

Alistair (Option 3): Right, right… that’s okay. I get that it was a bit of a- a bit of a leap. I just thought… don’t worry. It’s fine. Let’s just go back to what we were doing before and see… how far that can take us.

Okay I said I had all the hypothetical character interaction scripts for a potential future Atreus and Angrboda wedding written down BUT they aren’t all ready to be seen yet. However. This one with Ratatoskr came to me like a vision from an angry god (that might’ve just been Ratatoskr) and is demanding to be seen. So. You may see it again when the others are ready. But here’s a hypothetical script for:

Ratatoskr greets Atreus at his wedding

Ratatoskr: Ah! If it isn’t the man of the hour. Let me take this moment to wholeheartedly congratulate you.

Atreus: Ratatoskr? You really came!

Ratatoskr: But of course! It is a most mementos occasion. The world tree won’t crumble from my being away for a few hours.

Anxiety: The Lyndworms are all going to burn down the tree without us! There won’t be a wedding, we’re all going to die!

Ratatoskr: Right. I do hope you don’t mind my um… plus ones?

Bitter: Anxiety’s only here because he threw a fit when we tried to leave him behind.

Anxiety: Wh-what? No I didn’t! That’s not what happened!

Ratatoskr: Now, now, Bitter, you know as well as anyone it was either all of you or none of you.

Arrogance: I still think it should’ve been none of us. All… this! What a waste of time.

Ratatoskr: Then why, Arrogant, did you ask to come?

Arrogance: Well, if it’s a disaster I need to see it with my own eyes!

Perfection: I had hoped to assist with the décor, but unfortunately for you I was denied. By Freya of all people.

Atreus: You managed to catch Freya?

Perfection: For but a moment. She refused my needed assistance and announced she was going to help your bride get dressed. Another task where I was vehemently denied.

Ratatoskr: (sigh) They will all behave themselves during the ceremony, Master Atreus, you have my word.

Anders: Can you? I was beginning to think that armor never came off.

Fenris: We wouldn’t be having this conversation if it didn’t, mage.

Fenris: That’s none of your concern.

Anders: It’s a great deal my concern. Hawke’s my friend.

as far as im concerned alistair spends the entire blight having a crisis over his bisexual awakening and nearly everyone's to blame. the warden, leliana, stupid sexy zevran... morrigan (ew! blech! yuck!)... sten once picked him up like he weighed nothing to him and it changed alistair's psyche forever

Would anyone mind if I reposted my oldest banters that were originally posted in screenshots? There’s three of them. They’re the FenHawke Baby, Alistair Asks Warden to be Queen, and the DA2 LI’s React to a Hawke in the Fade (can’t put links I’m on mobile. They’re in the masterpost)

It bothers me SO MUCH that they’re all screenshots and not just text posts like every other one. They’re like that because they’re twitter reposts where I had no choice but to post them as screenshots and then for some reason didn’t put them into text posts when I originally reposted them. It just BOTHERS me

Plus I know it’s not accessible for screen readers and is hard to read just in general, but also I do feel a little bad reposting old content rather than putting out new stuff

The original screenshot versions wouldn’t be deleted, but the links on the master post would change to the text posts rather than the screenshots

Any objections?
