Eliza. they/she/he. blog running on sheer autism and lesbianism alone. i'm like if the vampire and mad scientist trope had a weird baby.

you have to be able to defend people who are receiving unjust treatment even if they annoy you even if you personally find them extremely annoying you still have to be able to stand up and say "well thats fucked up"

Interview with the vampire is sooo funny because jacob anderson is giving the performance of a lifetime as a black man struggling with identity in the early 1900s through the metaphor of vampirism and sam reid spends all of his screentime prancing around like a cartoon pony on amphetamines and theyre both equally captivating to watch

seems a little unfair that I’ll never have my portrait made by John Singer Sargent. I would have been really good at it. there’d be just a hint of canny amusement in my gaze toward the viewer and everything

I bet it feels good as fuuuuck to slightly draw your sword with all the other knights in anger when a treacherous knave shows their face in the court

being really into history is cooler than being into math or science… someone who likes math and science is called a “math nerd” or a “science geek” but someone who likes history is called a “history buff” because of their strong, sensual arms

"doesn't this charater under insane stress going through extremely traumatic events realize how inconvenient their irrational emotional reactions are to the people around them?" well, see, you're not gonna believe this, but the thing is,

not a dream
sometimes I go on a Wikipedia rabbit hole
I hear about a historical figure, a royal, a warrior, an artist or someone completely else and then I can spend hours reading up about them and then following the line of their female descendants as far as it can get me
the goal is to find out someone who has descendants in this day and age and it makes me exceptionally happy when that happens
usually I also save cool art of said daughters, granddaughters etc.
like these

if I run out of female descendants, I then find a niece of theirs (follow the line of youngest brother usually)
I can go like this for hours
these are some images I saved from my latest drift
I know so many strange facts about random historical women lol
