I am your host, Zebediah Kilgrave, and I will also act as your judge and jury as you make your way through this game. Now, I know that you all have found yourselves here for a multitude of reasons, most of which involve money, and money you shall find in abundance! There is a grand prize available of $66 MILLION up for grabs, and all you need to do is come and take it! Well, and fight off the other contestants, of course. After all, this is not just about the money, but also life and death. Should you fail to keep the money that you’ve earned and your bank balance goes below $0, then you will have to spin the wheel of fate -- and, well, that’s a bit of a nasty thing. But not to fret, you will have many chances to succeed, and many more to fuck over your opponents.

WHAT? This is a GROUP VERSE inspired by horror movies, gameshows, and reality tv. All participants will be trapped inside the casino by Kilgrave, and will be forced to play various games, betting away their money until they run out and are tortured or killed. WHY? FOR IC MONEY! But mostly for your character’s life. Don’t worry, they won’t have anything bad happen to them without your permission, and what is considered canon outside of verse is up to each individual player for their characters. WHERE? THE AMETHYST BASTILLE (under new management.) It’s a huge building with a hotel upstairs, so threads may take place absolutely anywhere within the building. WHO? ANYONE! Characters must be over 18, but there are no requirements regarding superpowers or anything. WHEN? As soon as you are accepted! EXPECTATIONS: Since this is a group verse for independent roleplayers, I’m not going to force you to participate. I am doing this for fun, and you should be too! If it’s not fun for you, don’t feel obligated to participate. That said, I like to run EVENTS in group verses, meaning that there will be a pre-planned scenario. In most cases, those who wish to participate will join me and others in a chatroom where we will play out the scenario, but these can be done as normal threads on tumblr as well. When there is not an event or you are not participating in the event, feel free to write threads as normal with other members of the group verse. It is also recommended, but not required that you follow the official blog for updates. OTHER MECHANICS: There is an element of chance in this verse. The IC timeline for this verse is 6 weeks, but that may be different than the OOC timeline. There is also a Wheel of Fate that will be spun (using a random number generator) when your character runs out of money. This should be one of the only parts that is randomized, unless you request otherwise. All characters start with $10,000.

ACTIVITY: No requirement, but you should at the very least start a thread or two when you join. GOD-MODDING: Standard rules apply. If your character is superpowered, make sure that they way that your character’s powers work is in line with how they should work, and that you have the OOC consent of the mun you are working with before doing anything drastic. FOLLOWING: Being mutuals with the admin (sclectiveconscience) is not a requirement, except for the role of banker. Non-mutual interaction must be worked out between muns. STARTERS & CALLS: These should be posted in the tag (v. high rollers). DUPLICATES: Duplicates are not allowed unless both muns agree. OOC DRAMA: Will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the verse if you start drama. Seriously.

BANKER (3 slots) — These characters work for Kilgrave, and are responsible for keeping people under control and in the building, as well as making sure they participate in the games. They have permission to kill. ONLY APPLICANTS THAT ARE MUTUALS WITH SCLECTIVECONSCIENCE WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THESE ROLES.

PLAYERS — These are unfortunate people that ended up in the casino for one reason or another, and were trapped and forced into Kilgrave’s game.

RESCUERS (3 slots) — These characters are under the radar, and are in the casino to rescue the player characters.
