Tri broke canon first, because there's no way the 02 Chosen are just going to forgive & forget being utterly ignored & forgotten by the others. Not to mention there wasn't any sensible, in character reason for that to happen anyway.

But, yes, no matter what is said by the creators, the events of Kizuna make the epilogue effectively impossible. Just hand waving "they came back later!" basically invalidates what they were supposedly going for, because what was the point?

But I have also never cared about the epilogue in the first place. I just think the "professionals" involved could at least keep to the storyline they laid out.

Does anyone else think Kizuna broke cannon? In Kizuna Matt and Tai loose their connection with Gabumon and Augumon, but at the end of Digimon Adventure 02 Matt and Gabumon land on Mars and Tai and Augumon become politicians. Why did they do this? I've not found the answer

You know, I'm working on the 2nd chapter of the Ryou fic I started last week & something about it is just screaming at me to go edit the first chapter & have it be set in my Wildfire type of AU (aka, Healer/Firestarter). Probably because Ryou tends to become a Frostflame in those AUs & it works so well with the prompt of hypothermia & with the lore about the Cyberdarks I'm building. It just feels right and I think I'm going to do it.

This is why I want to try to finish chapters before I post them. So I don't get surprised like this.

Hopefully I will have it all sorted out by the end of the weekend. ETA: Actually, I'm going to finish the whole story before I post anything on it, while also working on getting more of June of Doom written. I refuse to be surprised by anything else in this story before I post it.

It isn't because she's worried exactly. It's because Sora's mom is the head of a school of ikebana (Japanese flower arrangements, very prestigious). Since Sora is an only child, she is (presumably) going to inherit that one day, & it requires a lot of training. So she wanted Sora to work on that. Sora thinks her mom only thinks of her as "the heir", & not as a person or her child.

i love piyomon dearly so it's a bit of a shame that sora is kind of the most nothingburger out of the adventure cast. i support women but by God girl please give us something

I'm asking this for a variety of reasons. I had fully intended to write the fills for Bad Things Happen Bingo in the order that I received the requests but due to the Great Rewriting Project coming into existence & some of those prompts possibly having their fill fics being *very long* ("Compelling Voice" could be about 15+ chapters), I just don't think it's fair to keep people waiting longer than I already have.
