decided to replay chapter 1 and 2 since we'll get chapter 3 and 4 soon. we got to jevil's third or fourth phase our first try at his fight (note: we've tried his fight before, this is just our first try in like one or two years) we might clutch this-

we have managed to be BEARSICALLY completely spoiler free the past few days. filtered out the deltarune spoilers tag here, filtered out the phrase deltarune spoilers on twitter, haven't been in the deltarune subreddit for a while, have been semi-avoiding utdr videos on youtube.

and then just now when we were scrolling youtube GUESS WHAT WE FUCKING SEE.

Gaster is silly

As much as Entry #17 goes raw, I think it's actually not as overtly serious as people take it and shows that Gaster is a bit of a kooky character.

The main lines of substance are just saying that it's dark as fuck four times. "PHOTON READINGS NEGATIVE" is just a dipshit way of saying it's dark. He's rambling and musing to himself about a single thing (dark worlds) and just restating it several times before telling his homies to check it out.

Do you plan to publish a fanfic someday? I like your interpretation of (possibly several years ago, apparently, looking at the dates now, haha) the player and his dynamic with Kris <3

yea we have uh. barely been active here lately, our hyperfixations shift a lot and deltarune hasn't been our main one in a while (though the chapter 3 + 4 release date announcement did kind of spark it back up lately).

we've written a couple deltarune fanfics (you can find them on our ao3 here :3) buuut none of them really focus on that unfortunately. 😔 we'll probably write a couple that do someday though!!! especially since we've realized we're plural and honestly kris and the player's relationship has some pretty heavy plural vibes-

y'know technically we don't actually have confirmation that deltarune only has seven chapters. there's sprites that say chapter 8 and 9. and the chapter select menu could reasonably scroll. i mean i feel like realistically chapter 8 would just be a epilogue of some sort (the fun gang deserves to get to just hang out in castle town together without worrying about crap) if it does end up being a thing but who knows-
