The hill includes overall views of Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest.
The Chandragiri Hills was an ancient trading route that went through Kulekhani, Chitlang, Chandragiri pass, and Thankot. The Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple at the top of the hill is where King Prithvi Narayan Shah worshiped before conquering the valley.

Everest Base Camp Trek| Hike Nepal
Everest Base Camp trek is one of the typical trek that is done in the Himalayan region of Nepal. It is one of the major treks that trekkers prefer as it is considered as one of the scenic routes to trek. This route is done in the Sagarmatha National Park region of Nepal. Basically, the trip towards the base camp starts and ends at Lukla. Lukla is also known as the ‘Gateway of Everest’. Trekkers prefer to fly to lukla and begin their trek from their as the journey towards lukla from veivhle could be quite tiresome.
As the trip starts from the capital city Kathmandu, if the weather conditions are good then lukla can be easily reached by airways which takes approximately 25- 30 minutes. The journey towards Everest Base Camp begins the very day as the trekkers have to hike toward phakding which takes about 4 hrs. of trek. Simply, the first day trekkers have short experience of trekking and what they are about to face for upcoming 10- 13 days.
Trek starts from phakding and mostly end up in Namche Bazar which takes almost 6hrs of trek (12km approx.). trekkers take an easy hike via mojo that basically ends in Namche. Some trekkers call it a day and stop at mojo. That’s up to the trekkers choice looking at their conditions. While moving up towards Namche, this is the day that the trekkers enter to the Sagarmatha National Park. After reaching Namche the trekkers have a lot of time and can explore the areas of Namche. It is recommended that the trekkers should stay at Namche for acclimatization. The trekkers can do a short hike of 1-2 hrs. on upper parts of Namche.
After the stay in Namche the trek starts towards tengboche which is famous for its monasteries. the duration towards tengboche almost takes about 6-7 hrs. if normal trek. The distance from Namche towards tengboche is almost about 11 kms approx. the tengboche monastery is also considered as the biggest monastery in the sagarmatha region.
The next day starts from tengboche with a goal to reach dingboche which is also known as the home of the Himalayan Rescue Association. Trekkers can stay in dingboche for a day for acclimatization as the increasing altitude could take a toll on some of trekkers.
After a day in dingboche trekkers can start trekking from dingboche towards lobuche which is almost 12kms and takes about 7-8 hrs. of trek depending upon the walking capacity of the trekkers. This is the day before reaching Everest Base camp.
The next day trekkers hike from lobuche to gorak shep and reach Everest Base Camp. Trekkers can enjoy an hour or two depending upon the conditions and trek back again to gorak shep. Trekkers spend the night in gorak shep and the trek back home starts form gorak shep as trekkers can reach dingboche via kala patthar. Kala patthar is also the highest point a trekker can reach in terms of altitude which is 5500 m. the same day trekkers can spend the night in dingboche.
The final phase of the trek begins as the trekkers trek back towards Namche Bazar from dingboche in a single day as the trek is quite easy compared to other days of trek. After the night in Namche, finally trekkers reach at lukla after 8 hrs. of trek. Trekkers can celebrate about their adventurous trek in lukla. Finally, the last day is the day that trekkers reach Kathmandu via airways from lukla.

Annapurna base camp trek | Hike Nepal
Annapurna Base Camp Trek is still one of the most popular treks in Nepal. It is also know as tea house trek. A trek to Annapurna Base Camp sets some of the most fabulous mountain scenery with a fascinating life style of middle hill Nepalese. The trail takes us through an beautiful landscape of rice fields, misty forests and lowland local villages to the glacier. It offers a exceptional opportunity to surround yourself with snowy Peaks especially experience the glacier basin of Annapurna Sanctuary formed by Annapurna, Machapuchre (Fishtail, Himchuli, and Manaslu). Annapurna base camp trek used to be a complicated trek due to problems with food and lodge. Now there are many tea house between Ghandruk and Base Camp along this trail for the trekkers . The trek can be proceed by at least three different routes. Here I have described one of three options.
Mt. Annapurna(8091m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world which is situated 40km north of pokhara and the journey to its base camp, which is at 4130m height, is one of the most popular destination on earth. Moreover, we reach our destination via Mt. Machapuchhre also known as fishtail due to its shape which defines it own unique beauty.Every season has its own beauty to travel.
In Nepal, there are six seasons but it express as:
Spring (March to May) Summer/Monsoon (June to August) Autumn (September to November) Winter (December to February)
Autumn is of the best season to do this trek. Autumn offers clear blue sky and moderate temperature. This is the best and suitable time do any trek in Nepal and is, therefore, very crowded.
You could go during December if you would like it to be peace and calm. Annapurna base camp trek is possible in winter as well. Dry air and clear sky with the best view but, during winter, it will be very cold and will be snowing most of the time .
Starting from January, you need to be careful throughout the journey as their is always high chance avalanches . must be careful between deurali and machapuchare as it is prone to avalanches. base camp Trekkers should be careful in every single season while trekking through Deurali and Machapuchare base camp .
Spring is another of best time to do Annapurna Base Camp trek.collect the information before you leave to Annapurna base camp as their will still be chances of avalanches. In spring, the trail will flowering with white and red rhododendrons and many other beautiful flowers found in this region.

Trekking Company in Nepal
Hike Nepal is Nepal's premier trekking and tour company which was found by Binod Mahat. Hike Nepal was established in 2006. Hike Nepal is also a member of TAAN (Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal), NTB(Nepal Tourism Board) and also KEEP(Kathmandu environmental education project). Hike Nepal is a trustworthy trekking company in Nepal. It is said so because the founder himself is involved in all the activities from taking care of the travelers to all the aspects of trekking, touring and climbing. Through the experience of 7 years of traveling and as someone with a passion for the outdoors and Nepal's culture and history, the owner of Hike Nepal personally escort many of the treks my company offers, often working in tandem with trusted colleagues he has recruited from the top of the industry. This traveling agency assures the highest standards of service at every stage of your travel adventure. There are several other trekking agencies in Nepal that provide similar services. But Hike Nepal is itself known for the services which are not only satisfactory but pleasing. The reasons to choose Hike Nepal as your travel partners are : 1. It is a company having tourism professionals and expert guides who have long term work experience in the Nepal tourism industry. 2. The owner himself escorts the travelers and provide them with the latest, up-to-date field knowledge, while at the same time taking the opportunity for feedback to further improve the quality of our services. 3. Hike Nepal assures one of the highest standards of service at every stage of your travel adventure. 4. It provides quality services at fair and competitive prices and excellent value for money. 5. The owner guarantees the best available and most comfortable lodging, dining with backdrops of stunning Himalayas ranges. Trekking has become Nepal's leading tourist pursuit and thousands take to the Himalayas, some hiking for a few days while others walk through valleys and high mountain passes for a month. Two of the most popular trekking regions are the Everest and Annapurna treks. There are several websites where people can book different packages for trekking in Nepal. The most important thing to consider is that the cheap providers are probably not very good for their staff. The income is relatively low in Nepal and some organizations like to make use of it. So considering these things Hike Nepal focuses on quality services rather than cheap ones. For the category of selection, the services provided by Hike Nepal as the best treks in Nepal are as follows:
1. Everest base camp trek 2. Langtang Valley Trek 3. Annapurna Base Camp 4. Upper Mustang Trek 5. Ghandruk Trek 6. Rara Lake Trek 7. Ghorepani Poonhill Trek 8. Chisapani – Nagarkot Trek 9.
