well uh. this sure is awkward and heavy isn’t it? first of all, i wanna say thank you to everyone for following me and staying with me. but, all good times must come to an end. i will be quitting the editing community as of today. initially, i was thrilled. my account was growing fast, requests kept me occupied. i was happy to reach 150+ , but quickly it went downhill. i’m not going to go into detail, but recently, hikomie has not been making me as happy as it was. now, it feels like a chore. i’m unmotivated to do the edits in my inbox, burnt out, and constantly feel like closing the inbox is making people upset. yeah, some of the stuff that made me consider quitting in the first place is over, but my safe space has been tainted and none of the stains are coming out. hikomie isn’t just not making me happy, i believe that it’s making me more unhappy then i’ve been in a while. ill be making another account to edit for mutuals and chat with my anons still! you can find it at @canondolce . but, this account can be considered an archive. now that i sit back and look at the grand scheme of things, this account never truly brought me happiness. the small time wasnt enjoyable as i remember it. farewell! <3

oh btw even if i am quitting still give me credit when using my stuff that’s one of the main reasons i quit it’s really stressful

hi! so here’s how everything is going to work.

I want to thank all 120 of you for following me, first and foremost. I have no idea how I gained such an influx of followers recently after posting my 100+ contest.

As much as a I appreciate everyone and your kindness I sadly believe that icepopkin is honestly a source of unhappiness for me. I get anon hate very regularly and I feel like a lot of people tend to disrespect me (even if on accident, it still hurts)

I love editing, and I love that i’ve been able to make friends and meet a lot of very nice people so at the same time I don’t want to quit this blog but I think I might…

After the contest ends on the twentieth I will be contacting the winners and posting their prizes and then after that you can officially call this blog an archive. Perhaps I’ll come back to it and perhaps I’ll edit again on some other blog but for right now I think this is just what I have to do.

mostly targeted to kinnie edit blogs because thats the circle of tumblr i’m in, but feel free to invite your friends

How it works

Step one: Fill out the form

Step two: be picked by the mod

Step three: introduce yourself and your talent 

Step four: explore

Step five: everyone will pick a number, the number furthest away from the one the mod picks is killed

Step six: a random number picker will decide the killer, the mod and the killer will formulate how everything happens, and then the death will be revealed to the cast 

Step seven: investigate

Step eight: hold a trial, and vote to find the killer, if you don’t the killer wins and the game is over

Step nine: if the killer is found properly repeat steps four to eight 

Rules: 

Despite the dangan ronpa games having bigoted characters do not for any reason write yourself / character to be bigoted 

Respect the other players even if you’re fighting in the roleplay, do not trigger them or misgender them for any reason etc 

If something goes wrong let me know right away and I will take care of it

Do not apply as a dangan ronpa character, please, that’s not the point 

I need to have a way to contact you if you are applying

General DNI applies to this, esp to bigots and proshippers 

Feel free to talk to other players about dynamics and ideas as long as I also am aware of what’s going on 

Please keep everything as pg-13 as possible, I don’t want anyone uncomfortable.

before i even knew the game i was forced to sing doki doki forever while using tokidoki unicorns to sing. i had to sing yuris part (keep in mind i had no clue what ddlc was) and was told i did not sound depressed enough. sooo i knew it all from the start!! this was in third grade btw.
