It's so nice being on tumblr because you don't even have to make your own post but people would still follow you anyways if you're good at rebloging posts they like

i’ve been told by various european friends that the most american sentence i’ve ever said is “sophomore year of college, some friends and i road-tripped thirteen hours to florida for spring break.”
and now i can confidently say this is the most guy-who-lives-in-paris sentence i’ve ever said: “today i was cycling to meet a friend at buttes-chaumont and i went over some cobblestones and my baguette got launched out of the bike basket into the middle of the roundabout”

Please pray for the repose of the soul of this woman. Her name hasn't been listed.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Please pray for the repose of their soul, their family and friends, as well as that the police are able to carry out a proper investigation, and if it's a criminal proceeding to bring the person/people responsible to justice
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Hey, I really need prayers, my supervisor has turned out to be a very manipulative person and is ruining my dream job. You share such wonderful prayers too, and I could really use one for situations such as this. Thank you.
Of course! I'm so sorry to hear that your supervisor is impacting your enjoyment of your dream job. In this instance, I would perhaps recommend the following things.
A Novena prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel for protection. If you can find time to pray this before going into work or while you're in your work building but have time before clocking into your shift, then I think this can be a good time to pray it. Because we spend time praying for protection, and reflecting upon the protection of God. If you don't have time in the mornings whether before you head to work or before you clock in, don't worry. You can absolutely pray this before bed or some other time that suits you.
Make the Sign of the Cross (if you can) before you enter your work, and after you leave at the end of the day. Think of making the Sign of the Cross as putting on the armour of God. If you feel comfortable, then doing it three times before you enter and three times before you leave work would be great. But do not worry if you are unable to do it. You can even just pray "In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen." in your head.
Something that you can try praying as you work is the Jesus Prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner" (some people also like to pray it as "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, the sinner"). When we are tempted to get angry or stressed, the Jesus Prayer pulls us back from it. It will take some work, but practice praying it as often as you can when you are working. I have found it to be very helpful. And it can often relax us by giving our brain something peaceful and good to focus on. Even write it on a post it note if you have a desk, so that every time you look at the post it note you are drawn towards that prayer. The more you practice it, the easier it will be to pray even while having conversations or typing up work. I have definitely found it easiest when doing manual kinds of work though.
If you get a break at your work, then I think a short prayer for enemies can be helpful. This is a short prayer so it doesn't eat too much into your lunch break. But I think it can calm us down if there's been any frustrations that have arisen before our break. This should help us find our break more relaxing as well:
Lord Jesus Christ, Who didst command us to love our enemies, and those who defame and injure us, and to pray for them and forgive them; Who Thyself didst pray for Thine enemies who crucified Thee: Grant us, we pray, the spirit of Christian reconciliation and meekness, that we may heartily forgive every injury and be reconciled with our enemies. Grant us to overcome the malevolence and offences of people with Christian meekness and true love of our neighbor. We further beseech Thee, O Lord, to grant to our enemies true peace and forgiveness of sins; do not allow them to leave this life without true faith and sincere conversion. And help us repay evil with goodness, and to remain safe from the temptations of the devil and from all the perils which threaten us, in the form of visible and invisible enemies. Amen.
You can always pray the Our Father too if that's easier for you to remember. Any kind of short prayer is helpful, because it can help relax us even if only for the length of the prayer. I know that when we go into our break stressed, that it can feel like we haven't had much of a break at all. So trying to enter into it a bit more relaxed should hopefully be more refreshing.
As you leave work, "thanks be to God for all of these opportunities to turn to Him in prayer"
When you get home, take some time to sit and roll your shoulders. Shake out your arms. Unclench your jaw. Focus on your breathing while making the Sign of the Cross. This should release some of the tension that has built up in your body from the work day. And it should help you to relax in your home environment.
If all of this is too much for you to incorporate into it at once. Then take things slowly. Try praying the Novena. Then next try focusing on prayer before entering the work building and leaving it. Then the week after, practice praying at your break as well. Find ways of calming yourself and returning to calmness if it is ever disturbed.

“Obedience is a whole burnt-offering in which the entire man, without the slightest reserve, is offered in the fire of charity to his Creator and Lord by the hands of His ministers.
Few souls understand what God would accomplish in them if they were to abandon themselves unreservedly to Him and if they were to allow his grace to mold them accordingly.”

My grandma had a big scab on her face last i saw her. The doc thinks it might be skin cancer. She's 92, went to the Church of Christ all her life, loves Jesus and always helped people however she could. She has been slowly more mentally foggy but it's been thankfully very gradual.
Pray for her for me please. ♡

“[…] My daughter, you have not offered Me that which is really yours.
I probed deeper into myself and found that I love God with all the faculties of my soul and, unable to see what it was I had not yet given to the Lord, I asked,
“Jesus, tell me what it is, and I will give it to You at once with a generous heart.”
Jesus said to me with kindness,
Daughter, give Me your misery, because it is your exclusive property.”

hi Chrumblr,
I'm bad about posting requests publicly but this one is getting a little overwhelming.
My husband has been looking for a solid job for about a month and while God has mercifully provided for us via my job, we are also quite near to depleting our savings. He applies for like 20 jobs a day but Indeed is chock full of MLM, comission based scammy jobs. I'm also getting more and more worn out from being the sole income provider and I know that weighs on him even more than the actual job search.
Could you please pray that God bring him to a good job soon? If you have practical advise like good job boards or know of anyone hiring (either in Texas or just remote) that would also help! but prayers help most of all :)
Thank you <3
